I agree the singer isnt bossa nova-ish she has a beautiful voice though. Not a huge deal unless you wanna call this a bossa nova you could call it jazz pop too though I suppose.

No matter how simple this song looks, as a singer you have to hit the bossa notes very very precisely, or you're out. Sadly, this singer is out.

I here what you're saying, her singing is about on the legato side which may not be rhythmic perfect BUT I feel that her pitch, soul, and delivery more then compensates, she's managed to capture the sexy smooth feel of the bossa nova beautifully.

You definitely got bossa vibe! what a beautiful voice that girl has! The group is amazing also, great sax solo, but the guitarrist is a bit shy and didnt play as well as the others... anyway I enjoyed this performance as a whole!
