@FinalFantasyVersusX Yea, look up a picture of Prince Fushimi and his Wife. I think about half of Japan carries the Y-haplogroup D2. I can name you a list of individual with a similar look, but I don't feel like it LOL. There is a forum talking about this but I forgot the name of the website. It had tons of pictures of both famous and local Japanese people who were considered to be Jomon.

@japornip First of all I know the Ainu weren't Caucasian but had some features similar to them that why they were thought to have had Caucasian ancestry duh. He is a pure japanese. I've heard the story that his class mate used to pick on him because the way he looks. They used to call him Gaijin ( this means a foreigner in Japanese). I think many other kids were just jealous because he was a good looking boy!

He's stated many times he is 100% Japanese. I think he looks very Japanese, the Jomon ancestry type. Most Japanese are of Yayoi ancestry though.

@sueanna2 Well I don't think he's pure Japanese. His look is just one in millions in Japan, so rare. Also the native Ainus have different looks from him. Considering there have existed many European towns(Dutch/Portugues/Spanish) in Japan since 15th century, it's not natural to believe there's no such European mixed blood. It's just like the Philippines, there are some European look people, very rare though.

There existed many Westerners' towns around ports in Japan since 16th century, and many of them got Japanese women, gave births to many mix children whom were adopted by their relatives under the Japanese names.
