@kirbyhater123 a zombie is a dead person who gets reanimated through voodoo like in Zombie in 28 Days Later they`re living people infected by a virus. The people in I Am Legend are infected by a virus so thats not a zombie movie like most people think.

@jack2breeze no what your refering to is on dawn of the dead when peter talks about voodoo, 28 days later should not be refered to as a zombie film only because its on a more "modern day" infection as they can run and are smart built up on rage.

where as zombie films are also about having a virus but a true zombie film is where they stick to the rule book and and have slow walking dumb zombies.

for a good zombie film you need a good story line and a decent place to go if it really happned

@jack2breeze and the reason dawn of the dead is an all time number one is because it sets its background for over an hour while the story still lasts another hour or two, the remake of dawn of the dead was amazing but turned out too hollywood (action) by the end. resident evil are just horriable films as they dont stick to the story of the games and try to be zombie film just with the name resident evil that catches peoples eyes. the best zombie films are dawn of the dead old and new,

again land of the dead started off good but ended of too hollywood and stupid, diary of the dead is shit and so is day of the dead new, sean of the dead is good but is a comedy and gets boring after you watch it 20+ times and the same for 28 days later it gets boring after so many times and 28 weeks later which started of good ended like a big blockbuster movie which just killed it.

FILMS- dawn of the dead OLD,day of the dead OLD,dawn of the dead NEW,night of the living dead.

GAMES-resident evil 2,resident evil1,resident evil3,dead rising,left 4 dead,resident evil code veronica.

NOT resident evil 4 or 5 as they are NOT zombie games,resident evil dead aim and survivour are also good but very old resident evil used to be king!!!

I like black and white films,but i watched the original night of the living dead and it just made me laugh.

they may have been amazing back then,but you can't judge them by modern standards,because even movies from the 80s look,and are,better than those.

hell,even now,zombie movies are about as much blood as you can get,or comedies. there are no scary zombie movies.

@charliiebabiie no way man.  the infection, which is apparently caused by a chemical mix with monkey blood O.o, spreads w/o explanation; the "zombies" in that movie sprint and scream. Zombies wouldn't do that. Reanimated corpses don't have good enough motor function in order to learn how to run, or oxygen pumping through their lungs well enough to gather air to scream. The "zombies" in that movie aren't zombies-they're corpses on 'roids.

actually no it's not. i've seen land of the dead,dawn of the dead,diary of the dead, 28 days and weeks later (they are close enough to zombies!) night of the living dead and the zombie diaries! so no. diary of the dead is not the only one i have seen but it IS my favorite one. and if you disagree than that's good for you!
