Hey to all of Steve Meade guys I totally love his work seeing how he did his things inspired me to start more into this expensive world of car audio But I went with Kicker and have the warhorse with 2 Solo X 18s'. So Yeah his is great in a truck but I could 100 % guarantee with the way this is all broken down especially with the cab space inside that trailer that this would be extremely loud and not just because of the ten thousand extra watts 4 thousand of which is midrange

why use 36 kickers when you could use like 15 REAL subwoofers and get the same power ratings?... i dont get it.... and 171.9 dB is a huuuge number.. dont get me wrong.. but there are people hitting 155 dB with 2 subs, and about 160 with 4 subs.... you had 36..... -_-
@petes0213645975 the higher DB you go or want to go you have to keep multiplying the power....like to go from 140db to 145db you might need another 1000 rms....but to go from 165db to 166db you might need 2500wrms and 4 more subs to make that 1 db jump....these numbers are made up, but im just trying to make a point....

We had 36 15inch L7 WOOFERS we had a total of 30 feet to do this build, back half of the trailer is for show cars and motorcycle thats the reason for sealed box! Plus we had no intenion on building a SPL Trailer even though it will DESRTOY ANYTHING IN ITS CLASS ON SHEER POWER!!!

Hey man, not trying to put you down...but you want real respect from real people out there in the 12V community, post up some real #'s on the TL. Because the only way you are doing a real 171+ w/ that is if you have a loading area or chamber built and you are using the trailer as a huge 4th order to load it. And likely it is acting like a big super-portwars build.
Yes I see that you spent time and $, but its looks like a huge gimmicky build and someone just threw alot of $ at it... not much thought on the acoustics.
WE DID NOT SET OUT TO BUILD A SPL TRAILER and we are only using half the trailer other half for shoe cars. I can assure you this is NO GIMMICK and backed by KICKER will show at CES to QUIET ALL CRITICS!!!

not hating on this at all but if i was gonna spend that much time i would make it spl capable because if u have sheer loudness u can alwas tone it down for quality!!

it look cool..kinnda stupid cant use for daily driveing like a car..would of been better off porting like 8 soundstream xxx 18's wid few 15000d amps would of been louder prob same room and well that many square subs look ugly

We had 36 15inch L7 WOOFERS we had a total of 30 feet to do this build, back half of the trailer is for show cars and motorcycle thats the reason for sealed box! Plus we had no intenion on building a SPL Trailer even though it will DESRTOY ANYTHING IN ITS CLASS ON SHEER POWER!!!

@xxTHExxABYSSxx i know who meade is, and meade is NOT louder than this.. meade only does 157s-158s on average.. this semi does mid 170s..... meade is no where close to this

@BeAILsTaR13 well yeah in the 157-8db range but i think he said that he needs to stay in a certain bracket of db to stay in a certain class because he cant produce enough dbs for the next class but yeah u both have wonderful and amazing set ups, cant wait till i get my own.

Actually all that would happen is the Stetsom would get sent back for repairs, pretty much like all Stetsom amps. Sure is you like horrific sounding amps, go for it. Yes I am well aware of their Record holding vehicles, but they sound like SHIT! It's all physics, and losers that use stetsom think that some sort of magic dust can be sprinkled on a little amp and poof, it now is on par with the real amps of today. NO, i don't like Kicker either!

Alright. I like kicker but for power stetsom is what I would choose. I only here about the blowing when they get 16v+. I like both.

Hey man, not trying to put you down...but you want real respect from real people out there in the 12V community, post up some real #'s on the TL. Because the only way you are doing a real 171+ w/ that is if you have a loading area or chamber built and you are using the trailer as a huge 4th order to load it. And likely it is acting like a big super-portwars build.

WE DID NOT SET OUT TO BUILD A SPL TRAILER and we are only using half the trailer other half for shoe cars. I can assure you this is NO GIMMICK and backed by KICKER will show at CES to QUIET ALL CRITICS!!!

Thats all fine. Like I said, I can see that you spent alot of time and $ building it. Yes I see that is is not an SPL machine...just a rolling display. I see the old Kicker trailer at shows like Scrapin' the Coast every year.
BUT, what I am saying is that you are NOT going to do 171+ w/ that. It will move alot of air, but that SPL is not going to happen.
It looks nice but given the equipment and space you have, a far louder and impressive vehicle could have been built.

I can't make it to CES this year, but hopefully this will be at other large shows...hopefully in the south. Texas Heatwave, Scrapin'...etc.
