The history of HBCU football began almost 120 years ago as a means for African American collegiate players to have the same opportunity to play football on their segregated campuses; campuses segregated not by choice, but by law. The concept of this game was developed by HBCU alumni who to provide educational and entertaining content to everyone regardless of race.

Its getting pushed back because it is a racist game. I am white and I work at a Gamestop and the posters were so degrading that after 12 hours we got them, we were not told to throw them out, but to destroy them.

looks awesome! i heard it's customized for black gamers. long load times added allow blacks to hit the blunt between plays, after touchdowns it allows for three full minutes of celebration in the endzone, with unlockable baby mama dancing on the jumbo tron. Hard to see players during night games for added challenge. Random fights in the stands, stomping downed players,probation mini game, downloadable grape gatorade ,rewards for best felony to sack ratio are great innovations! Cant wait!

I'm not black but I live fairly close to a HBCU and I think this is a pretty cool idea. Many colleges and universities get short shrift in the NCAA video games.

Black Colleges (once again, segregated by law at the time) were not included in the NCAA when it was formed in 1910, so Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU's) developed their own conferences (SWAC, MEAC, CIAA and SIAC) that still exist today. Also, each year a Historically Black College and University (HBCU) is named the "The Black College Football" national champion, sanctioned by the NCAA (created post-segregation).
