  • This was Basrah in southern Iraq in 07. i was also in the IZ in 08. The IDF in Basrah was ridiculous! We took idf 3 times a day sometimes, 12-24 rounds for 17 stright months. yea the firefighters were great. When we started getting hit the DoS sent them out and then brought them right back. We had to move into hard cover as hooches we being hit every day!

  • The contract firecrews in the IZ were crap. K9mike, where was this? I was in the IZ 08/09. Spring 08 this was pretty common.
