  • Topgear is better

  • Top gear = circle, Fifth gear = Magnificooooo!!!!!!!

  • top gear is for laughs / racism , 5th gear is for info, b

  • 5th Gear always have the best driver to test all Brands of cars.

    So guys, be with it...

  • Fuck all the "top gear is better" comment. You borings guys, Fifth Gear is really interesting and you can actually learn something while Top Gear is just funny.

  • The 370Z was never the fastest "GT car" going, wet or dry. It's a "build it and leave it" car, the opposite of Nissan's own GT-R or FORD's Mustang, whose cars are NOT left to rot. The Megane has much better suspension tuning. Also having too much power can be a problem for any car. Being FF has nothing to do with it. We've seen plenty of FR cars that would beat a comparable FF car easily. The Z, a lot stock one, just isn't one of them.

  • @DocWolph Did you just put a GTR and a mustang in the same category ?

  • @Eliano55 Yes, I did. I know what I posted. These are cars the companies did not "leave it as is". They keep going back and making the cars better. They are different, coming for very different angles, and price points, but they have that much in common. I do not worship at "The alter of The GT-R", so I'm fine with making rational comparisons.

  • @Eliano55

Well if he didn't the WTCC sure does... and Mustang is successful!

Godzilla (as much as I love it) is, 9 out of 10, a DNF or not on the podium.

  • @DocWolph But to be fair, the 370Z is one of the best handling RWD cars for the money, and down here in Australia, the 370Z costs over 30% more than the Megane 250RS. Which comparable RWD car can beat the Megane $ for $?

  • @matw8 I'm a fan of "show me". Unfortunately, the Magane, in any trim, is not available in the US, like the Focus RS (easy hit for FORD and yet...). Because of the market perception of RWD as strictly a performance and/or luxury drive layout, even in the US, there hasn't been a new RWD car that would to compete with many hot FF compacts, for the same money, for at least a decade. But a hot RWD car can ace a hot FF, unfortunately you have to pay more for one these days.

  • Of course FF car is quicker... its in the wet! Duh!

  • @buccavich You mad ?

  • @buccavich FWDs understeer under power and struggle to get power down out of corners. Its a stiffer and better balanced. Nothing to do with being FWD.

  • @buccavich RWD should be quicker accelerating in the wet. You get more grip for acceleration with the weight transfer to the rear under acceleration, where FWD will spin the wheels. Also the Nissan has a better power to weight ratio so should accelerate better. The Megane wins because it's quicker through the corners and that's how I like em!

  • @buccavich You may want to re-read what you just posted. Drifting a RWD under power is OVERsteer, not UNDERsteer. But in any case a RWD does not always oversteer. Plough understeer can happen to anyone entering a corner too fast. In fact the BMW 330i, which is a great car, tends to understeer into corners and oversteer out. A well setup FWD with good front end grip can oversteer (see vid), but many do not. Most cars (FWD and RWD) are setup to understeer a little for safety.

  • @matw8

    Wha... what the...

    HOW DID I DO THAT!

    (@_@)

That's what I get for trying to think at 3am in the morning.

I'll fix it when I wake up.

  • top gear is much better

  • Skewed result. On another track in different weather it could be completely different.

  • @rol1in0n20s nope

  • They should bring this Renault to N. America under the Nissan brand.

  • what is the name of the rally driver?

  • @zagatozgz Mark Higgins
