Whilst everyone can improve their flexibility, what the likes of Thomas Kurz, Bill Wallace and JCVD dont really want you to know is that they got this flexibility after only a few weeks. They're naturally flexible to begin with. A lot of it is genetics.

Why are there negative comments being posted here when Bill is only offering his advice on stretching? He is an amazing athlete! There aren't many males or females that have the flexibility that he does. I see him as an inspiration and would never knock his personal technique in what he does. We've all been given different fingerprints for a reason. Thank you Bill for being an inspiration to me!
Good but his split is not perfect and his frontbend is incorrect due to his back was arch. His back was supposed to be flat while frontbend. Nice but he need more works to do. Sorry about my English. :)

a problem with the Wallace technique is it will place compression on the lumbar and you can hurt the lower back. Another risk is stretching the connective tissue, ligaments and tendons, which will cause a loss of joint stability. Wallace has had 2 hip replacement ops, already. This vid is rather dated as well.

Wallace is a leading authority in stretching and kicking. But trying to do full splits is a waste of time. Most offer you will just injure yourself.
