Hot dang. The U.S. needs to take some serious lessons from Japan, & what wrestling is really all about. Our so called female wrestling in the U.S. is nothing more than an embarassment.
Well, if you're just talking about Divas and Knockouts, I will agree with you. But having been to SHIMMER tapings two times now, I can honestly say that North american female wrestling has improved a LOT over the past years, it's almost on par with the joshi puroresu today. Wrestlers like Daizee Haze, Cheerleader Melissa, Nicole Matthews, Sara del Rey, MsChif, Madison Eagles (Australia), Mercedes Martinez, Jennifer Blake - those can go toe-to-toe with their Japanese colleagues.
Real Japanese wrestling is a dedicated art - a million miles from the general fodder of mindless, sabre-rattling, bland & poorly acted Yank 'spectaculars' featuring steroid pumped morons of both sexes performing dismally much to the delight of a brainless cajun audience - ergo Americans.
Oh man another great match, well cant call this part a match really cause Akira is beating Rumi like a rug!! Akira is awesome from the way she manhandled ..."womanhandled" Rumi in this part of the match!
Love how Akira's trash talking both to her opponent and to the audience. Great match.
