We have to understand why Dan generates so many conflicting comments -
It's because he talks about the ego's two most cherished belief systems -
Food and Spiritual living.
When one does this in a public forum like youtube, with people of different backgrounds, there will always be some kind of shitstorm as background noise.
The egos are fighting for their survival when challenged. When we surrender, and stop the war within us, we find the Peace of Life.
I think many of you raw food guys should focus on making money. Because money gives you a big stress in your life. Imagine to have control over money so money doesn't have control over you. Then you can travel around the world etc. Money is yang energy. If there is a dis-balance with yin/yang then you have stress in your life and are not happy. Be honest, open and authentic as much as possible around other people. That is how you find true love(God) in your heart. It will fill you up with self worth. Ego is a symptom not the problem. Ego is lack of self-worth and it comes when you are not totally open, honest and authentic. The most beautiful person is the one that share his or her heart. No Ego can match that.
Have love for everything around you build that aura of love around you daily even if the day goes bad. It is very powerful stuff for the mind and body because they worked in harmony with one another. @whothehellgivesadamn, being raw vegan is not the same as juicing. There's a difference between just eating healthy and flooding your body with healing greens and other colorful veggies. Eating healthy is great, but fueling the body in high amounts works miracles. I admit some things can't be fixed by greens, like stupidity and punkness.

@EMN413, that's interesting... I'll try to read up on that. I suppose that would be hard on the liver if you release toxins too fast, but the liver is very very resilient and it can regenerate itself completely. If someone's liver fails due to eating healthy, they had some very serious issues and were a ticking time bomb to begin with. What I can tell you is that in six weeks of juicing a lot of greens, carrots, and a tiny bit of apple every day and not eating junk I had small miracles.

@nenku, I studied the alkaline diet and focussed on alkalizing my body. I tested my urine and saliva with pH tape about 4 times a day. The saliva seems to be effected more by recent ingestion so I started only testing urine. It took 21 days strict before I turned alkaline. That very day I noticed changes in my body. Small miracles including my eyebrows got thicker, less grey whiskers and no more clumps of hair in the bottom of the shower. I even took sodium bicarbonate daily. Alkalize!

man the more and more i hear about people coming to the same conclusion about peace, and finding peace the more i feel like... how can no one not want that. you hear people who with an angry voice try to convince people that they have the plan of happiness thats right for you, when really your happiness lies within purifying yourself

@whothehellgivesadamn, being raw vegan is not the same as juicing. There's a difference between just eating healthy and flooding your body with healing greens and other colorful veggies. Eating healthy is great, but fueling the body in high amounts works miracles. I admit some things can't be fixed by greens, like stupidity and punkness.

@EMN413, that's interesting... I'll try to read up on that. I suppose that would be hard on the liver if you release toxins too fast, but the liver is very very resilient and it can regenerate itself completely. If someone's liver fails due to eating healthy, they had some very serious issues and were a ticking time bomb to begin with. What I can tell you is that in six weeks of juicing a lot of greens, carrots, and a tiny bit of apple every day and not eating junk I had small miracles.

Thanks, Dan.. I learned a lot in this one.. about the reason for the ego (survival) and how we need to love ourselves regardless of the foods we eat.. how eating raw foods is a great way to express that love for ourselves because it is a way of taking care of us. You know, when I pray, I constantly change my wording, editing myself to the point where I lose my key msg to God, and I think I don't need to worry about that so much. Time for a change, first we change what we eat and then we change our behaviours and then... we change what we eat, feel, buy, give, etc and Then, we will have changed the world!!! @nenku, I studied the alkaline diet and focussed on alkalizing my body. I tested my urine and saliva with pH tape about 4 times a day. The saliva seems to be effected more by recent ingestion so I started only testing urine. It took 21 days strict before I turned alkaline. That very day I noticed changes in my body. Small miracles including my eyebrows got thicker, less grey whiskers and no more clumps of hair in the bottom of the shower. I even took sodium bicarbonate daily. Alkalize!

dan every time i watch your videos it brings light into my day. be it your diet encourging me to contine my choice of health and pushing me into what i feel to be right. to go vegan. i am really feelling the pull!! cutting right down on meats right now, right down. increasing the whole fruits and raw veg too! im loving it, everyone around me thinks its/and i am off it because of it. yet you, and other are keeping me in touch with the pull i feel inside. from my hart dan, i thank you. inlakech
