And that's why I wore the evil eye my yiayia gave me. I've found over the years that yiayia is ALWAYS right. She could say the most strangest thing will happen and I would tell her, "That's not going to happen, yiayia!" Then it happens. Every. Time. Always listen to your yiayia.

Well the yiayia in the video didn't sound greek and didn't do the cross right, I you depicted what a true yiayia is like. Isn't that the point of the video? It doesn't matter if the yiayia was actually greek.

It's pretty obvious no one is really Greek in this video. That's a Roman Catholic cross YAYA is doing AND it's not 'YAYA' - it's YIAYIA and if you are Greek you do not say 'YAYA' as you do in the video - it's pronounced WAY differently. Not even the slightest bit funny.

And a long time ago, a LOT greeks had blonde hair and blue eyes. My grandma, who LIVED in Greece until she got married. Oh, and also, I have relitives on the half of my family that's Greek with blue eyes.

I'm Greek and my eyes are green. My mother has green, my father has blue, my sister green and my brother gray. Although yes, Greeks have predominantly brown eyes, like most South Europeans, but you'll see many with a light-coloured pair of eyes.

the catholic cross was modified from the orthodox cross when the great divide happened.

That's cool but the differences lies on details. At 1:06 when yiayia makes the sign of the cross she uses 4 fingers like a catholic. Although there r some catholic Greeks, the vast majority are orthodox and we make the cross sign with 3 fingers out together...
