hahaha~~don't mentioned it!!!! after all, we are all family for loving amei!XD
Not to boast but i personally think that Malaysian artist/ musicians /songwriters are up there with the rest of the world. A lot of Taiwanese artist are singing songs written by M'sians and Singaporeans! But that's just me!
wow..that's nice to hear! kinda took me by surprised! Mostly foreigners would just skip to the next video. They don't really watch this. LOL!! So you can speak chinese yet?LOL!!!
Yes, I can speak Mandarin Chinese, and also can understand Pekingese (Beijing dialect).
Reading Chinese is different matter. I only remember maybe more than 50 characters. (mostly simple Chinese) I studied more than that, but I often forget.
I tried to learn Cantonese, and gave it a really good try. But, all my books and materials can't agree on a standard, and it seems to change too often. But, I can figure some out if I'm around it long enough.
wow...you're good. i'm not chinese educated too tho i can speak cantonese. i'm learning mandarin by way of listening to a lot of chinese songs and try to sing em. of cos, with horrid results!!! LOL
The easiest dialects to learn are from Sichuan. Only 1 tone.
But, since I don't use it anymore, I forget how to speak it, and stopped learning it.
So, when you try to speak Mandarin, do you speak like how the Southern Chinese do? They have lazy tongues and made their own version of Mandarin, which is confusing to me since they pronounce 10 & 4 the same way, and can't speak the different "r" sounds, and change it to "L" or "z".
Do you have complete version of this song in this concert ?

KAULAH SATU SATUNYA (You are the only one)
DIANTARA BERJUTA ( One in a million)
INSAN TERISTIMEWA ( The special one)
Hope it helps

Thank you! :D
*hugs*
Seems like Malay stuff is suddenly popular with Chinese recently. I see Malaysian singers on CCTV and other channels in China very often now.

I'm not from China, but I lived there many times.
I get Chinese TV, because my husband likes to watch the news and musical shows. He's Chinese.
I'm actually American.
