  • A very sweet video, thank you.

I liked also the words you printed that introduced it.

  • I hear rats are super affectionate and smart as pets. We have (unwanted) ones in our NYC apt on occasion that we humanely trap and set free (:

  • Of course, this is a prarie dog not a rat, I didn't get the two mixed up :)

  • I have a siamese boy rat called Frank who will do this! If you lay him back in your lap, he starts chattering his teeth (sign of happiness and contentment in rats) and he will go to sleep like that lol. All of a sudden, he will wake up & flip back over XD

  • Hi Marie!

Frankie (RIP) came from a pet store in Yonkers, NY. We just adopted two baby girls from Texas in the spring, a woman named Lynda Watson (look her up, she's amazing) rescued and sent them to us. PDs are born around March, so you'd be best adopting a pair or more (never alone) around May when they are about 7 weeks.

  • So adorable. Where'd you buy him? Looking for one this upcoming May. Been advised they are born in May. Thanks, Marie

  • omg i wish mine would do this. maybe when theyre older. how old is he/she?

  • Thanks prairie dog mom...i enjoyed your videos too (o:

  • Love your sweet little baby. How absolutely precious. Is there anything better than a warm prairie dog belly?
