As a trained professioanl singer, I'd like to offer some words in this debate. I have NEVER seen a Tony Martin video where he did anything close to what he did on an album, especially an album like Headless Cross or Eternal Idol. And the whole "sick on tour" thing is a joke. Real vocalists know how to sing through a cold and hit all the high and low notes; I've done it live many times in the past. Tony is a studio vocalist, and a good one, but he can't hack it in a performance. Sorry.

I think if you choose to be a professional musician, you should have to offer something that´s for real: your talent and your honesty. The audience isn´t sitting there (paying money) to get cheated.
