Excellent record. It's the title track from the NOCHE DE AMOR album, which was the Latin version of BLOW YOUR OWN HORN, containing two different songs - this one and "Sueño Precolombino". The album was catalog AyM SP-37006 and was only released on vinyl or cassette. Happy Birthday Herb - 3/31/11

Perro!!!!, con esa canción si uno se la canta a la perrita, si es verdad que sueña con uno todo el tiempo, no se aguantaría ni aguantaría 2 pedidas, que buena melodía.Cuando uno cree que se va a terminar la canción le zampan ese solo de trompeta y lo dejan turulato, que barbaridad de músico, le espera la eternidad en todo caso.

que entrada tan impresionante, se nota que la calidad no se improvisa, a pesar de los años, sigue siendo una excelente canción, con un mejor intérprete. Que bueno es oirla, esa entrada de trompetas, y luego el solo es fantástico.

Thanks for the information! I had never heard him singing in Spanish. By the way, there's a wonderful band in the Baltimore/Washington DC area that is a Herb Alpert & TJB tribute band: Black Sombrero Brass. I think they are on You Tube. They really capture the sound of Herb's group.

On the "Fandango" album, he also sings another spanish track, "Quereme Tal Como Soy" and I have a 45 rpm record of him singing "This Guy's in Love With You" in spanish. It is renamed "Yo Soy Ese Amor".
