Yeah Fox screwed up. I LOVE this show, own the series and the movie. That was the MOST SOPHISTICATED and believable SciFi writing that ever was - WTF???? Sorry for the actors, this could have been a 10 year series. However, they will always have us, the devoted fans. My 10 year old daughter loves it too! Then I found out Joss wrote for Roseanne - LOVE his writing. Nothing like realistic,smart, and sassy dialogue! Serenity II (Inquietude?)..?

I love watching this, it's interesting to observe that they're so nice and quiet that even Chuck calms down a bit. They speak coherently and don't interrupt each other. Real pleasure to watch. Serenity was such an awesome movie! I stumbled on it quite by accident and because people wrote such amazing review comments I decided to rent it. Then I checked out the series and was equally surprised just how absolutely brilliant it was as well. There is some amazing chemistry between the characters and the universe they're in works really well. Why on earth Firefly got cancelled is totally beyond me. Bring on a sequel or series 2!!!

They develop a show and then proceed fuck it over by like airing episodes out of their intended order, randomly moving the show around the schedule with no advertising to notify viewers of the changes, deciding to cancel too soon, etc. Firefly, Wonderfalls, Profit, The Tick all fell victim to this type of bullshit. Arrested Development was also cancelled before its time, but at least it got more than a handful of episodes before getting the axe.

Oh, wow! U have to watch the show...it is amazing. Each character is so likeable in their own way. The 1st episode's kinda like.."whatever", but after that u will get super hooked. I couldn't stop watching & saw the whole series in a week. In many ways I'd say the show was much better than the movie, not so sad & dark & serious..i liked the characters more in the show. Especially the captain..u think he's all mean & selfish but the more u watch the more u realize how much he cares 4 the crew.
