@red97rum It's a self rebuilt stock trans. The key to good shifting is a good clutch. I've a quarter master twin plate.

I can't afford a high dollar shep rebuilt tranny or anything like that.. Have all the parts bought to fix mine myself.. Have people telling me that for 400whp and running 11's my stock tranny won't hold.

I run a spec stage 3 clutch, really don't like it.

How is the quarter master for every day driving? My talon isn't my daily but I do like to drive it on the street a lot.

@Bbdrew I actually have two trans so I can fix one while the other is being used. I've broken one 3-4 hub and mushromed some syncro springs.

But it still holds over 600hp most of the time. I'm getting ready to drop into 9's next weekend.

I don't dailydrive the car but it sees the streats ocationally. It's ok for that but I'd get some act clutch for dailydriving.

Well with my END of all goals for my car at this stage while im working my crappy job and going to school only being around 450whp - I ought to be okay then running a stock transmission setup.

The ACT2600 is what has been attracting my eyes lately

I acctually used to have a act2600. Some of the passes on my channel are on that clutch. Should hold 450hp easily.

Only mod you should have to do to the trans then is 4spider or welded center diff cause the stock one won't hold shit :)
