Its a very well established way to play heads up, especially after the shorter stack is under 10BBs. I think he had a read that she is a little too cautious and so pushed hard.
Yeah Vanessa let him get away with too much there. I thought she played well in the first game and pretty well early in the 2nd but then she started letting him steal pre-flop when she had decent cards and didn't go all in with her 4s. Then when she min raises with K4 and he goes all in for the millionth time in a row she still mucks it as if she thinks he has a pocket pair or something.
if you haven't play heads up at all - flopping quads in 1 match it's really lucky. And the boats too. She ran extremely good - I've seen her play online she's extremely passive. No doubt about it she's good - but she's not that good ( not compared to farha seed ) Negreanu was the only one that played badly against her .. but he's a calling station

@ShredTheGnar690 She's good at getting max value out of made hands, but if she wasn't running so well I think anyone with some poker experience could evaluate her play, the pots stolen from her, her inability to steal big pots of her own, all the times she failed to value bet the river, and see that she really couldn't have made it to the final table if she was cold decked. That's what separates the pros: they don't always need such good hands to win: Huck took her out with TPNK, not a boat.

Number one, the aggressive player normally has a slight advantage playing heads up. Number two, she admittedly says that she is playing tight, but doesn't use that image to her advantage. Number three, she doesn't bet when she has the best hand and then wonders why she loses. Don't give players like Huck Seed free cards. He will use them.
I give her credit for beating some great players, but this was an old fashioned beating.

Yeah Vanessa let him get away with too much there. I thought she played well in the first game and pretty well early in the 2nd but then she started letting him steal pre-flop when she had decent cards and didn't go all in with her 4s. Then when she min raises with K4 and he goes all in for the millionth time in a row she still mucks it as if she thinks he has a pocket pair or something.

if you haven't play heads up at all - flopping quads in 1 match it's really lucky. And the boats too. She ran extremely good - I've seen her play online she's extremely passive. No doubt about it she's good - but she's not that good ( not compared to farha seed ) Negreanu was the only one that played badly against her .. but he's a calling station

i've never seen huck Steam Not that he hasn't but it hasn't been caught on Tape or Film.. Even Daniel has had his moments......I guess the other would be Ferguson ...but Its close...but He has those shades...Huck is stone cold...

@ShredTheGnar690 She's good at getting max value out of made hands, but if she wasn't running so well I think anyone with some poker experience could evaluate her play, the pots stolen from her, her inability to steal big pots of her own, all the times she failed to value bet the river, and see that she really couldn't have made it to the final table if she was cold decked. That's what separates the pros: they don't always need such good hands to win: Huck took her out with TPNK, not a boat.

Seed completely dismantled Russo here.
What she did wrong
Number one, the aggressive player normally has a slight advantage playing heads up. Number two, she admittedly says that she is playing tight, but doesn't use that image to her advantage. Number three, she doesn't bet when she has the best hand and then wonders why she loses. Don't give players like Huck Seed free cards. He will use them.
I give her credit for beating some great players, but this was an old fashioned beating.

In Poker u should be a emotional rock and yet have a big understanding about emotion!
Not if u are playing against another emotional rock, because there isnt emotions to understand.
Only if he thinks that u are feeling emotions and expect u to act acording to that emotions. Then u frustate his plans acting the oposite.
But if he knows that u know that he knows, then u should act like u dont know.
