  • and i still think youtube is for videos

  • It would depend on the nature of the encounter, which ever animal got the first attack in would have the upper hand, it would also depend on the size of the snake and if the cat was quick enough to not get entangled in its coils.

  • still cool even with just pictures

  • sorry a retic has been known to eat tigers but ok.

  • pythons are fine in other countries except in america..they are invading our everglades and soon will devour everyspecies in the swamps....thanks exotic animals lovers for bring them here when there not suppose to be!

  • snake was in the wrong place at the wrong time. large snake probably 20 years old

  • Thanks, but if I wanted to see pictures, I would go to a freaking museum.

  • no video?

  • Tastes like chicken!!!

  • HDP!!!!

  • this is what i do to all the snakes around me everyday!!

  • i didnt see your name until when you said a lion was killed by a python lol another tiger fan...your point a leopard and a tiger can kill a python but a lion....well done.

  • Leopards are so nasty

  • @UrielEternal What?

  • Never heard of a place called GA, I'm guessing it's in the inward looking USA, where is GA? The world is a big place, try to get out a bit more!

  • Huge? More like half grown...

  • I am disappoint.

  • really a 250 pound cat cant kill a snake with no legs. ill put my money on the agility and bite force of the cat over the slow snake.

  • I smell the sweet yet poisonous aroma of photoshop

  • @grabes1980 Why go to the trouble. This is obviously not photoshopped

  • @wan2shuffle How is that so obvious?

  • @grabes1980 Its possible its photoshop but why? This stuff can and does happen in nature

  • fake liar ass hole fucking full grown rock python could kill full grown lepoard its rare to see and interaction with these animals because they dont usually fuck with each other and usally python wins

  • @13andbeast

Hmm. So you are 13 yrs old and act like it.

Excuse me, I am part owner of a reptile ranch located in GA. I also used to live in Africa and have witnessed more than a half dozen encounters whereby leopards easily kill and eat HUGE Rock Pythons. Yes, it's true a Python will not seek out a Leopard, but a Leopard will always prefer to eat a ripe Python over many other menu items in Africa. btw...I love snakes. But I'm also not a delusional 13 yr old who idolizes snakes. Now go to bed.

  • FAKE!!!

There's no evidence that leopards exist. You can see :41 there is clearly some kind of false marking on the bear hide that was most likely draped over a midget actor. These scam artists are the worst.

  • Comment removed

  • @mandijaneex3 did you know that dogs kill more people than pythons, boas, anacondas, etc. combined. :)

  • This is great.

  • Cool, all snakes should meet the same fate!

  • @chatege75 Then many more people would die to diseases crops would be destroyed, pests like rats and mice would take over etc.. That would be a fun world wouldn't it!

  • in case you didn't know, this site is called youtube. it is where you post VIDEOS! i hate watching slideshows in youtube. (besides senior projects.)

  • i saw this video and the python wasnt even trying to attack instead get away... if the thing was on the hunt it would have fucked that pussy

  • next time bring a fucking camera.....!

  • @SCHWEE13 thats kind of odd but hilarios

  • Comment removed

  • well since no one will admit it i will say this snake is at least 15 feet min

seems like everyone here is too pussy to take a guess grow some balls and take a guess at the snakes length and stop being so damn scared love how these so called snake experts are afraid to guess a snakes size it makes no sense maybe real experts dont exist snake people just get more and more stupid to me.

  • It's really hard to predict who would win.in this case, the leopard beat and killed the Python, but in other cases,a python may kill a leopad if the snakes manages to coil around the leopard's body, but this won't be easy for the snake since leopards are really strong and quick.

  • FAKE!!!

  • wtf pics booooooooooooo

  • @0:44 NOM NOM NOM!

  • And reticulated pythons eat leopards. The circle of life.

  • :D one less snake! :DDD

  • This guy below knows nothing about snakes -___- if you ever read this , I hope you slap yourself for thinking you know everything

  • Fake, a leopard cannot win against a python, their skin is so hard that a single bite or scratch wont do a thing to the serpent's skin, the same happens when the tigers or lions wants to attack hippos. In this case the snake could easily own the leopard it just need to wrap it up and that's it for the leopard.

  • @XxOrochimaruX yea snakes are invincble...not even swords or knifes can penetrate their skin...heck not even my shotgun hurt them! And I agree, the videos ive seen of lions killing and eating hippos must be fake...theres no way their 4inch canines can penetrate the hippos body armor ^^

  • @XxOrochimaruX oh and yea big snakes are so fast and leopard are just so slow with terrible reflexess...the snake will easily catch it and kill it. Ive seen videos of snakes hunting zebra...you would never think it but snakes can move almost as fast as a cheetah! Its amazing that only intelligent people like us know these facts! Everyone is is sooo stupid.

  • @XxOrochimaruX ummm.... snakes' skin isn't nearly as touch as you think. I have snakes and if they fall on their branches they can get cuts, and even a very very large snake like that has skin which is no more durable than the hide of any other large cat prey item

  • @XxOrochimaruX

Pythons are by far the strongest animals on earth. They can devour a whole F/A-18 Hornet (pilot included) in one bite.

  • @dafuyoma Lol, awesome, can you imagine how fat and deformed that serpent will be? LOL

  • @dafuyoma ...gold :-D

  • frank but i mean buck was a faker his camera lenses covered way too many angles and he apparently favored pythons the snake symbolism of the devil the fight with the croc was teribble footage the camera is covering the who view so they did not want us see the fact that river was a fake and the croc was a baby

  • R u boasting or complaining? lol

  • THIS TRUE. WHO CAN NOT BELIEVE SHOULD ASK ME. BECAUSE I AM AFRICAN.

  • its common...leopards are known to kill pythons, these cats or so quick with stamina...a python just doesnt have the speed and stamina to fight a leopard

  • negros cant afford video cam?

  • @GigglingGirI this is the advanced version of their cam....1 frame per 30 sec :)

  • Lepoard has balls of steel

  • youtube is for videos, not slide shows....thumbs down

  • the real life version is way better than disney's jungle book

  • @SCHWEE13 How can this nig-ger comment have best ranking?

  • @SCHWEE13 HA!

  • @SCHWEE13 LOL

  • @SCHWEE13 fuck u

  • i think its a fair battle the largest male lepord recored is 204lbs and 6ft 2in long the rock python recorded was 25 ft long and weighed and 350lbs now that would be and unfair battle so lets say the python is 14ft long and woeghs 200lbs so 204lb 6ft2in lepord male vs 200lb 14ft long snake they are both hungrey and they are both on flat ground near a river bed honestly it depends on who gets the first coil or bite the lepord can bite the snake but if the snake coils around the lepord he can win

  • @acsnakeman

no 14 foot snake would weight close to 200 lbs....

  • @acsnakeman pound for pound snakes will fail agaisnt big cats a jaguar can kill an anaconda that weighs much more than it very easy 350lb snake vs a 150 pound leopard is fair the leoard will use its speed stop over rating pythons they never win in real fights with serious large predators

  • @acsnakeman if you ever watch a large constricting snake wrap coils around it's prey, it takes a while, a cat is just too quick for any snake...

  • Watching wildlife without bringing a camcorder = fail.

  • @lostn65 This comment: Win

  • @lostn65

Having more thumbs up than video itself = win.

  • ANY full grown leopard DOES NOT stand a chance against a FULL GROWN python.

the strength of 18-20+ ft python is just crazy. MANY a leopard has been found in python stomachs, and i'm not a snake freak, just once it gets ahold of big cat it usually equals dead kitty !

  • @use2slam2 prove it

  • in your dreams normally a huge python destroy any cats!! fucking retard!!!

  • Leopards are strong as hell for their size!

  • man thats a big snake

  • The leopard was like :Yes! I killed it! And now...?

  • There was an Indian Python that was found with a leopard in its stomach so this match can go either way.

  • @ma7799 That leopard was more than likely already dead. A healthy cat can take down any size python with ease. Even if the snake manages to get a hold of the cat (unlikely because cats are so much quicker) it's 2+ inch razor sharp claws will slice through the snake, killing it very quickly.

  • @GO302

There is an old film of a reticulated python attacking and killing a black leopard in India.

  • @ma7799 I think I know what you're talking about and if I remember correctly that film was staged. The cat was declawed. I could be wrong, but I just can't see a warm blooded mammal with advantages in just about every category losing to a cold blooded snake with its only advantage perhaps being weight.

  • @GO302 i believe you are wrong about that. cats are scared of pythons, as pythons emit a high pitches squealing sound with their "anuses" or "cloaca". something when i'm afraid i emit the same sound. also much like a squid i spray out a filthy stinking fluid that both burns the eyes and offends the nose.

  • @sarxsoma Obviously not. If they do make such a sound it's probably just them shitting themselves knowing they're about to get fucked up. I highly doubt a 250 pound cat with reflexes you can't even fathom would be scared of anything. Well, maybe a shotgun... I don't know, those mother fuckers could probably dodge bullets.

  • @GO302

Yes, cats are known for agility and good reflex. there's a video shows a lion dodged shot gun from 4 hunters. So, chances for cats win over snakes are high.

  • All Cats eat snakes. And all Cats eat Wolves, Dogs, Hyenas, Bears, and anything including Humans. Cats are the true apex predators.

  • Actually, there's a video on yahoo of a leopard being constricted to death by a reticulated python. Of course, it must be staged....and part of an anti-cat conspiracy..

  • nice meal...

  • 0:50 is not true i live in SouthAfrica and it is not true

  • Tigers have been know to make meals out of Reticulated Pythons over 20 ft. in length.

  • Very impressive, and not really at all that surprising at the same time. The African Rock Python is the 3rd largest snake in the world if I remember right. But leopards are very strong, and very agile as seen in the clip. If the snake misses, it's history! But A real constrictor killer would be a 250 lb male Jaguar. They have been known to kill green anacondas with one bite to the head. Jaguars have the the most powerful bite of all cats Tigers can get the job done too.

  • go cats.

  • IT WOULD OF BEEN EPIC IF IT WAS IN VIDEO

  • this snake had to have been sick, full or gravid cause an adult ARP could have easily taken that cat down.

  • Wrong.

Cats will never be taken down by a snake. One reason, agility. The cat being warm blooded will always be able to see the snake coming and dodge it without ever getting struck. Cats don't get eaten by snakes. Snakes get eaten by cats. All things do, cats are like their Snapsid ancestors who were the alpha predators before Dinosaurs.

  • @TheRadicalRyushin alright kiddo. i'm going to state all of the things that are wrong with your statement so bare with me, might take a few comments. . 1. cats were not even around before dinosaurs. the only mammals around in those times were very small, hense why they survived when dinosaurs didn't. they were able to hide in burrows and caves until things settle down. 2. the first cat to be considered an apex (not alpha) predator was the sabertoothed cat which didn't evolve until long after

  • I ain't a kid, I am older than you are.

  • Comment removed

  • @TheRadicalRyushin dinosaurs were gone. 3. cats being warm blooded gives them no predatory advantage over anytthing that's cold blooded. and 4. my ace in the hole. "the reticulated python. survivor cretaceous" 5:09 watch it and weep as this retic not only strikes this cat before the cat even knows its there, but takes it down. get your facts straight before you act like you know everything.

  • @TheRadicalRyushin giant constrictors are called apex predators for a reason. they are the top of thier food chain. when they reach full size, not much is capable of taking them down. not saying it's impossible, as later in that same video a tiger mangles a retic pretty good. but point in case, snakes damn well can kill and eat cats. cats may be nimble. but snakes are ambush predators. thier prey doesn;t know they;re there until its too late.

  • Stop professing your insane sexual love for snakes. Snakes are not apex predator. An apex predator has no predator of its own. Cats and Orcas are the only Apex Predators on the Planet.

Cats are return of the Repitilian Synapsid design that made the Synapsids superior to all walks of life for over a hundred million years before the rise of the Dinosaurs.

That design has return with the Cats. They are destined to be the supreme predator of the land. Nothing can ever predate them, except us.

  • @TheRadicalRyushin if you're older than me then act like it. i showed you proof that you're wrong and instead of accepting it you resport to talking trash about me, LIKE A KID that can;t admit when they're wrong. cats do have predators, as shown in the video i refered you to. snakes eat cats. ALL THE TIME. you're just too high on your perch to stop to think that you could actually learn something from this experience. just another youtube troll and not worth any more of my time. k, bye.

  • Bon apeti.

  • A phyton já estava morta!!!

  • youtube=video not powerpoint presentations

  • @nickyeager123 Agree with you there.

  • @duetoadr

    true.

  • I wonder how the leopard would fare against a big female green anaconda?

  • @PKBitchGirl the same. There are videos of Jaguars, killing fully grown anacondas even while in water. A habitat, where the snake is superior with the cat. snakes can't handle the agility of cats.

  • @VpR81 Jaguars are much bigger than leopards though, it would be a harder kill for a leopard

  • @PKBitchGirl No, Jaguars are not much bigger than leoaprds. In the wild, Jaguars CAN reach a length of 180cm (w/o tail) and Leopards 190cm, Jaguars CAN reach a weight of 220 pounds and Leopards up to 200 pounds and jaguars can reach a shoulder height of 80cm, Leopards also 80cm. Jaguars only have a higher "minimum size", while leopards can also be very small. In the cap region of south afrika, sometimes only 80-90 pounds with a shoulder height of 40cm.

  • @VpR81

Jaguars are larger than leopards the same way siberian tigers are larger than lions. Ofcourse some big lions are going to outgrow the small tigers the AVERAGE size of the tigers is larger than the lion. This principle works with the jaguar and leopard example. Minimum size is totally irrelevant to comparison of animal species because there is always going to be a few that are smaller than minimum size due to defects.

  • @assassin4than Of course Jaguars are bigger than leopards. I just wanted to show, that jaguars are not MUCH bigger than leopards. I didn't want to say, that jaguars are not bigger. Everyone knows, that leopard is the 4th and jaguar the 3rd biggest cat of the panthera subspecie.

  • @VpR81

Well yes you have a point that they arent much bigger, its nothing like comparing a serval to a puma or anything to that extent, this is relatively similar in stature and size, I was just trying to say how average size outranks minimum size.

With the Everyone knows part......think again.

I know people who think a leopard is a cheetah and a jaguar is a leopard.

Hell i even know people who think a Panther (melanistic leopard or jaguar, not puma subspecies) is its own species of cat.

  • @assassin4than Ok, forget that about everyone knows. I'll correct it: Everyone whos realy interested in wildcats, knows that....

In this way, you are absolutely right. I have to say, that i forgot to write, that the average size is the point, and thats where the jaguar is bigger. No question.

  • @VpR81

Glad to see other people who are actually interested in this.

  • @VpR81 jags can grow up to 300-350lbs that is almost 3 times the size of the average leopard at 90-135lbs

  • @akaroyalljelly 300 to 350 lbs is not average size of jaguars. So how can you compare it to the leopards average size?

  • @VpR81 leopards R quite impressive cats, I never said that the jaguar averaged 300-350lbs. It can get to be that size leopards do not approach that size a 200lb leopard would be quite a speciman.

  • @PKBitchGirl

It doesn't quite matter on size, a leopard and a jaguar are completely different and actually the leopard probably has it easier. The leopards skull is arranged for it to throttle prey like most felines but the jaguars wider and shorter jaw with a larger forehead is designed for crushing small animal skulls in quick crunches. This is not very effective against a 300 pound reptile and throttling is the best option, the only defense the snake can have is binding the cat which is rare

  • The author makes a strawman.

"Pray items" between apex predators is pretty much opportunistic.

A leopard can never beat an adult male lion but a resting lion can be found prone easier than a leopard against a big python. It's not like the leopard wrestled the snake. It found a weak point and went straight for it.

  • @DINDRAGON I've seen a documentary were a couple of Jaguars prayed on a large boa and one of them wa almost killed distractring the snake, until the other could find a weak spot (its neck) between its coils.

Large constrictor snakes are a rubbery mass of muscle and their bones are very thin. Their spine and main arteries are not as exposed as someone would think having standart mammalian pray in mind. That makes it considerably harder for large cats to kill them.

  • @DINDRAGON

You can't instantly remove all options without having seen video footage. What proof is there that there was no struggle, infact looking at 0:23 shows that the leopard is using its neck and shoulder muscles in an attempt to pull the snake which would probably mean the snake is resisting in some form.

It is also unfair to say a leopard can never beat an adult male lion. Im sure there are some times that has happened.

  • A Lion is substantially stronger than a Tiger.

  • @hoyfanofboulder not realy. A tiger has a higher body weight but can climb up a tree, a lion can't. Even the lighter female lions cannot climb up vertical trees. Lions have not enough strength in their paws and legs.

  • there we go! kill dat shit!

  • By the way if you want a real fight instead of this bullshit one meaningless picture go watch "leopard vs tiger - leopard vs python"

you will see what happens to the poor leopard when it fights against python

the tiger either couldn't match the python

snakes kills cats, whether you like it or not ...

  • @Drozal

cats kill snakes, snakes kill cats, always depending on the different size...

  • @Drozal I know this video and it's fake. They cut of the claws of the leopard and the snake killed a leopard that was clawless and fucked up by the tiger before. A healthy snake can NEVER deal with the agility of a healthy leopard. Jaguars kill adult anacondas even while in water, where the snake is supposed to be superior. there is a vid of a 200 pound jaguar, doing that in water with a 300 pound anaconda. says all

  • @VpR81 300 lbs? laughable.

  • @Drozal

emm.I've seen a lot of cats (any cats) killed snakes instead.

  • I haven't seen any fight ... meaning that python might have been already dead

    maybe it was starving

so we can't know the conditions of the encouter, but anyway that's not a 20 ft python far from it was more like 2,5 meters long, and is quite thin meaning it was probably a "teenager"

a big python would squize the leopard to death

    bye

  • This is called a Flickr photo album, not a YouTube video. I want my 1:13 back.

  • he was sitting there thinking wat he should do with the body

  • mammal-eating snake killed by spotted cat.

  • leopards are the best hunters in africa. They kill warthogs by themselves, and lions cant even kill a warthog even when they hunt in packs

  • i like Gerbils, so i know for a fact that a Gerbil can and has killed a wild 1,500 lb

cape buffalo. there is evidence of a Gerbil taking on a mature 500 lb lion and killing it

i say this because Gerbils are my favorite animal and i live in an unrealistic world.

Gerbils have even been known to take out 8 ton elephants. people if you like a certain animal fine but be real. in any 1 on 1 fight the winner would be a mature male elephant.no other animal would stand a chance !

  • @use2slam2 There are tiny elephant-eating alien warp zapsters.

They flock around water holes where they collect in multi-millions.

Their spaceships look like peanuts so the elephants eat them up.

Once inside, it's all over for the elephants. Honest, folks !

  • Honey Badgers can not bring down a lion!

  • @plokijarev

I know it sounds ridiculous, but you'd be surprised to see how much caution a lion uses when facing an upset honey badger. And when lions use caution, it must mean they know it's either dangerous or a fierce defender. Both animals treat each other with some level of respect at times. You should check it out.

  • Impressive kill, but that python is definitely not 20 feet in length.

  • I've seen pythons get the first strike on a ready lion cub, and the cub fought it off. I have feeling big cats win way more than they lose against anacondas and pythons.

  • fake :)

  • If that snake struck the cat first and got a good lock on it, the cat would die just as easily, and that is fact. I know, I have one :)

  • @serratealldemoncrats

I'm sure you own a 20 foot plus snake, faggot.

  • LOL, of all the stupid little cunts on youtube, you have to be one of the most ignorant. No, dickface, mine is only 16 1/2.' For the feeble brain you have it may as well be 20.' What I'd really like is to see you say that to my face, in front of the two inbred fucks you call your mom and dad. That way, I can show them what happens to the cowardly little piece of shit that talks from behind a computer.

  • @serratealldemoncrats

I can't believe you're so raged because I doubted the length of your snake. While you say you'd like to see me talk shit to your face in front of my mom and dad, at the same time, I'd enjoy seeing how fucking red in the face you get from a youtube comment, veins popping out of your head and all. I'm assuming that you're just some socially awkward guy, and that's why the comment got you so pissed off.

  • @serratealldemoncrats Judging by your recent profile comments, I can see I'm not too far off on the socially awkward part.

  • @serratealldemoncrats guess u think ur a big man now that u own a 16 foot snake lol

  • @serratealldemoncrats tigers are to big and strong it would break free out of a python grip

  • In all honesty i pretty sure the leoprad would useually if not always win, simply due to the fact that felines instinctivly go for the neck or head, a leopard's bite brings down thousands of pounds of pressure per square inch on any victim. Once siezed the pythons head would of been like an egg shell under the wheel of a car...........

  • this is not a video...

  • good kitty cat!

  • Good work leopard <3

  • It could be also that they know when to take a python. Pythons that have just fed are extremely vulnerable, because when they're bloated they have little motility.

  • leopards looks to be experts on hunting snakes aswell didint know that, there are alost of videos and many ppl have seen leopards killing pythons.

  • Cats kill snakes.

  • @fabregas360 snakes kill cats

  • @fabregas360 They kill each other. Like most animals in Africa.

  • This video sucks.

  • 200lbs of cat vs 200lbs of snake I have a pet snake but I think a leopard would kill a big rock python but that is just me.

  • Apparently these big cats instinctively know to go for the python's head. Once they lock onto it, it's over, quickly.

  • Must have been a toughy to put down. It's quite possible for a leopard to bring down a python, just as it's also possible for honey badgers to bring down a male lion.

It's nature. Anything goes. And that's why it's so interesting.

  • @IIMayhewII Its not hard for a leopard to take down a python or cobra, if you type on youtube:

leopard cubs vs King cobra, youll see baby leopards killing a cobra

  • @IIMayhewII honey badger bringing down a male lion hahahaha, nice joke man

  • @IIMayhewII Honey badgers don't hunt in packs, and a single honey badger stands absolutely zero chance against an adult lion, male or female.

  • @IIMayhewII Honey badgers don't hunt in packs. And it is not possible for one honey badger to bring down a male lion. There has never been a documented case of that happening, nor will there ever be one.

  • @IIMayhewII I am a Safari Guide in the Chobe National Park, Botswana and we often see these scenes. If you look closely at the picture you may notice that the python had a bulge in its belly and that means it had just swallowed an animal. Pythons become sluggish when full and seldom fight and that is when lions, hyenas and indeed leopards are able to kill them. When in that state the python usually regurgitates its prey so that it can become lighter for fight or flight.

  • @TheKitsin Thanks for the informative insight! I guess the Lions and leopards are able to observe their condition too. It's pretty conspicuous! Serpent sized snakes, I don't think would normally be harassed by anything! Dragon Crocs?? Hippos???

  • just because leapords r quicker doesn't mean they can easily take down pythons, pythons are really quick at stricking and it will take a while for the cat to bite the spine of the snake. Pythons are pretty powerful.

  • you got 70kg + of pure muscle teeth and claws the leopard seriously out guns any snake in the weapons department add in the cats agility, intelligence, endurance etc etc

  • So if this is real then what the commentator is trying to state based off of this supposed battle is that Leopard will always win in leopard vs python? Wow somebody loves leopards!

  • the python was aready dead

  • leopard caught him off guard...nobody gets that close to a python and gets away with it.

  • From my understanding large cats can prey on large snakes and crocodiles for a couple of reasons. I was reading about how compared to dinosaurs, mammals in general are much better predators. the same goes with lizards and snakes. The reason being is that Tigers, lions, leopards have the densest muscles of all mammals, so they are extremely strong. Also the shape of the teeth are designed to tear flesh. Most animals cannot hurt the snake, but because of the design of the teeth and claws cats can
