Yep. It was the only time when an injury forced a player out of competition. Another player sprained her ankle in Basic Training way before that, but her injury wasn't as severe as Katya's.

Yes it did, it was one of the first shows ever broadcast on Nick UK - including its first day - Sept. 1st 1993. Later, Global Guts was produced in collaboration with Nick UK. They ran a competition for Nick UK viewers to go to Orlando to take part.
