No more benefit fraud, false wrokmans comp, single mothers getting rent free 4 bedroom houses, no more revolving door prisons, when you commit a crime your punished, when you go to prison you get a 7 x 6 cell and a plank, instead of a 3 piece suite and a playstation.

love denis leary, love jeremy clarkson, but I don't necessarily agree with their politics. clarkson just blatantly hates the U.S (ironically enough, seeing as he gets money from us for his book and his other affiliations), and denis leary is awesome but a little twisted when it comes to the U.S nowadays, as shown in his book.

but the U.S has a black president!

ahhh yes! That's where I had seen it before! Great ad though, sometimes blood and guts ads, like the ones we have here, can miss the whole point. Humour and telling it like it is can be a nice change. :)

First off, this isn't strictly a PSA, as it's an advert for a lager (Holsten Pils). Secondly, didn't realise Leary ever did any work in the UK. Nice vid!

While it is commercially sponsored, it is still serving primarily as a PSA; it's not like Holsten's offering an alcohol-free alternative.

I managed to see this on TV twice; thought it was the best anti-DUI advert ever, and was most impressed with the ASA allowing it through and with Leary himself for doing it.

I disagree. I think it's actually quite powerful. We need the serious end too but I think ridiculing drink drivers is a good thing. Other ads are always about hitting people of losing your license. A lot of times people drink drive and don't hurt anybody — but it's still not acceptable behaviour.

Yeah, it's a British ad. Oddly enough it's not actually a PSA, it's an actual ad for Holsten. They just decided to go for the anti-drink-driving message.

Though it looks like it was made in europe (stearing wheel position) so maybe it was. They arent as censored there as we, americans are.
