I was down there in 2007 and saw something similar. The flash floods are pretty amazing to witness... By the way, how is the trade season doing down there? I heard it was very slow this year.
2007 was NOTHING compared to this flood run,..the largest before this was in 1979,.. as told to me by a long time resident "cushman" still too early to tell for the seasons snowbirds,.. appears to be people starting to come down,.. but as usual its slow till about the end of november,.. we own andersons discount grocery here in town and it appears a little slower than last year but it is picking up slowly
I'm trying to remember Anderson's... I know I shopped there a few times, but I mostly went to the Chinaman's store (Mister Woo? Mister Lee?). I also think I got drunk once with Cushman at the Yaught Club, where I met a guy named TeePee Bob, who taught me to play one wicked game of pool. Good times.
