We need to realize that these polls are rigged to make us believe he has no chance. We need to ignore the polls 100% and vote for this man while spreading the word about this. TELL EVERYONE YOU KNOW NOT TO BELIEVE THE POLLS!!
Wow! what a pitiful woman. So filled with hate, her mocking expression when listening to a man of peace is a sad reflection of the society we live in. When someone would rather mock and try undermine such logic and kindness and the average consumer laps this kind of thing up. Is there any hope for mankind?
DENNIS FOR PRESIDENT. NO COMPROMISES, NO SETTLING FOR SOMEONE WHO ISN'T REAL, AND NO ACCEPTANCE FOR SOMEONE WHO IS RUN BY THE CORPORATIONS!
"I want you to understand how it [my presidency] will transform this nation when you have a president who cannot be bought or bossed, who has the willingness to speak out when others would be silent." --Dennis Kucinich
is brilliant. He has my heart/brain support. He is sweeping the country by storm, despite the mainstream media's best efforts to marginalize him. He cannot be held back. His integrity cuts through the deception and people respond to that. His victory is inevitable. (I tried to put this on the CBS vid, but my comment is "Pending approval").
And I AM donating next week, the first time EVER I will donate to a political candidate. Go Dennis!
I totally agree. VOTE for the ONE candidate who has the guts to really go up against the corporations and bring us serious health care without insurance company interference. On his website, there is a survey linked that shows when people in a blind-poll check their position preferences, Dennis WINS! He was in LA this evening and did a FABULOUS speech. And, YES, his campaign needs money...contribute through his website...whatever you can.
I hope that Dennis Kucinich will pull out all the sane minded Americans that refuse to vote every election year because the candidates are all the same, this guy is different, this guy will cause change and lead America to be a constructive member of the world
Does anyone else think Kucinich might get offered a running-mate spot by Obama if it were to come to that? Maybe Obama will try to snag Edwards but I would think Edwards would feel like leftovers because he ran as VP candidate with Kerry. And Richardson seems to leadership-oriented to make a good VP candidate. I mean, I'm gonna vote for Kucinich for pres. but I would still be quite happy for the guy if he got the opportunity to contribute back to the office that Cheney has besmirched.
To Quietsheep and the rest of you who believe in Dennis, take heart because just a month ago the polls put him at 1% but now I've seen polls where he is up to 5%, passing Biden, and closing in on Richardson. Once he passes him in support, and with Hillary losing credibilty/support lately I really believe he can be more than a long shot. I too have never been moved by a politician like Dennis has inspired me. I plan on being a volunteer here in California for his campaign.
Every single Kucinich video i watch completely stuns me. The man is on fire with passion and brilliance with every question and response. i don't know why this moves me to tears: because such an amazing candidate exists, or because everyone says that it would be impossible for such an amazing candidate to win. i mean, it seems like, on YouTube at least, most young people seriously admire this guy. perhaps youtube isn't a representative sample of the american population though. i dont know...
if everyone that says things like "i love this candidate, but sadly, he'll never win.." if those people vote from their hearts and voted for the candidate they want, even if it is a write-in vote, then things can change for the better. whether it's this election or next. it's time to get rid of 2 option voting where sometimes it is voting the lesser of 2 evils. TIME TO VOTE what WE WANT. you want Kucinich,, VOTE KUCINICH, you want RON PAUL.. VOTE PAUL! you want Giuliani..well, do what you want
people actually complain to me that CNN is a liberal biased station because it supposedly doesn't ask Democrats the "hard questions". what a bunch of crap. this clip shows that's absolutely not the case.
CNN is fair, and if anything it's balanced a bit to the right, they have several openly Republican hosts and no openly Democratic ones.
Isn't he great? I love how clear and strong he is, and always been, on the issues that really matter. We all must support him, not only with our hearts and minds, but also with our checkbooks. He and us deserve it!!
If you like Dennis' ideas, you need to put your money where your mouth is and donate to his campaign. He will only get the necessary press coverage if he is able to raise enough money for his campaign to get the respect and attention of the media as a viable candidate. MONEY TALKS! Go to his website and donate what you can, and get others to listen to what Dennis says about the issues. $10 here, $50 there—it can add up if we ALL contribute. Send a message that'll be counted—donate!
I absolutely LOVE his answer to the typical abortion question. He has stated before that he will keep abortions legal but goes further in wanting to address the REASONS for abortion. Many women feel they cant AFFORD to raise a child, and poverty should be abolished!
Dennis Kucinich is incredible. He exceeds my expectations every time I hear him speak. Paula Zahn could not yank him off balance. He is the only candidate I have EVER sent a contribution to. I wish I had more $ to support him. Help him out people! Get on his web site & volunteer & send him some $ so he can compete with the rest of the baloney out there. It's the only way we will get someone who cares about people-all of us.
Of all the political figures in the US, Kucinich is the only one who really talks about Christian values-- in the prophetic sense. The rest are just state Christians ("Constantinians"---to use Cornel West's term) who are more about using religion as a divisive issue.
read about why this interview was done at kucinich dot us... "Sojourners insisted it was only capable of interviewing three candidates, saying it hesitated to invite more than three candidates because it "wanted to create the space for a deeper engagement on the issues in the relatively short period of nationally televised coverage of the forum."
However the day before the broadcast -- in a 10 p.m. conversation following the New Hampshire debate -- Dennis Kucinich engaged the president of CNN in a discussion about the inappropriateness of excluding more than half of the candidates. CNN agreed with Rep. Kucinich, and thus offered the other five candidates an opportunity to participate in the second hour of the show.
Because of their refusal to talk to other candidates, I no longer take Sojourners seriously. I'm also deeply questioning their progressivism. The last thing I want to see is Democrats using religion the way Republicans do. It HAS to be authenic and prophetic.
What makes him great is that he loves his country. The others have investments in there country. I use love because of my definition. Love= to give with out expecting anything in return. The others will expect a return for there investments. Kucinch is the only one not invested.
don't know about that... perhaps she's doing her job as as a journalist by osing challenging questions. the question I have is... does she do that with everyone or is it totally apparent who she agrees with or who she feels she can bully or who she kowtows to?
They should not even worry about the candidates religion, why did they have a program about faith and politics... all that will do is divide people. Kucinich and Paul are complete opposites on everything but Iraq. They would never run together. I like Kucinich and don't like Paul, look at there bill sponsorships and you will see they are incompatible.
Both oppose the WTO, NAFTA and other free trade agreements that harm labor and the environment and sent American jobs over seas. They both are stong defenders of our personal freedom. Both opposed USA-PATRIOT and its renewal and the Real ID Act. A Kucinich-Paul ticket would unite America.
Paul is an extreme right wing libertarian (who opposes abortion rights). Kucinich is really on the actual left. But the left's patriotism is always suspect, so Kucinich can't really attack the war machine the way that Ron Paul has. I definitely support Kucinich over Paul. I also support Kucinich over Gravel who is really into a kind of libertarianism that isn't as extreme as Ron Paul's.
Paul personally opposes abortion rights but wants to leave it up to the states to decide. There are libertarians on both side of the issue, for them it is a definition of when life begins and for Dr. Paul, since he is a specialist in obstetrics he would oppose abortion from a personal standpoint.
In the last session, Paul opposed a bill which made it illegal to take a teenager out of state for an abortion. He believes it's a states rights issue. Basically, Paul won't do anything to cut off choice and he won't do anything to protect it.
Kucinich is centrist, but they've herd Americans back to the right by telling them centrist is leftist. Following Bush's term, the most critical issues are peace, repealing the Patriot Act and the Real ID Act and withdrawal from the WTO.
Abouta 95% of America agrees with Kucinich's positions. When people are told someone is left, they often don't check where that person stands on the issues. The corporate view should not be calculated in determining whether someone is centrist. Corporatins don't get a vote. Every single position DK has is mainstream.
I doubt it is even possible for a Kucinich-Paul ticket, they are two very different individuals who believe in very different things. Their foreign policy is similar, but have different reasons for that. Kucinich, from what I have heard wants to expand federal govt, Paul wants to shrink it.
Eh I don't agree with that they could offer each other some balance maybe. They are apparently already close personal friends. Both are strongly against the Patriot act and many of the powers Bush has taken upon himself.
Neither party has a majority. Ron Paul certainly doesn't have a majority for some of his positions. However, the peace movement does have a majority and they are the two peace candidates. I see a Kucinich-Paul ticket as something that could unite the country. The Democrats' best chance in the general election is with Kucinich. The Republicans' best chance is with Paul. Together, they would have a winning ticket.
are you demeaning their service? did she listen to what he said? she is doing all she can to get a soundbyte out of him, and when he answers very thoughtfully she gets upset and asks what she hopes to be another polarizing question. there is a huge difference in the way the associated press handles democratic canidates.
this debate and how CNN handled it just helped prove they are propagandists!!! Kucinich is amazing and brilliant, she could not get him to say something that CNN could pound him on. Kucinich 1 - CNN 0. I like how he left with "Peace"
Dennis did great because he is honest about where he stands. He speaks for the American people. She speaks for the corporations who want to put down the feelings of the American people. Viewers saw through the questions, and that is why the media can't keep him down. America is getting tired of media bias.
"So you are demeaning their service" - shut the fuck up Paula. Nice job trying to twist Kucinich's words.
