The other perspective is how well will MTA actually manage the monies they are given. Do they really need it? Seems like every 3 years we are threatened with a fare hike and whining from the MTA execs about how hard their jobs are. Didn't they give away a couple hundred million Christmas of 2006?
And the shame is they would rather give AIG billions but the MTA...nope. I see civil war in our future if this keeps up. The people can only take so much of this...
