Yes, it sounds MUCH more glamorous than it really was. 13 days working all nighters in the middle of a coldwave in January with a maniac director. food was awfull. we staged in a tent outside! very professional. ton of people on set.

Shot in January. so cold the snow froze into ice-they used snowmakers to fluff up the shots...Cameron spares NO expense. Hundreds of people on set. Large tent used as a staging area outside. And it was a toss-up between True Lies and Specialist (Stallone). The group that chose True Lies (including me) was damn lucky. This movie made me a fan of Arnie. Back then I was just 15.

Whenever I hear this song, I always think on how epic the storyline is and how the first scene of the movie was by far my favorite. I watched this movie when I was 15 and will never forget the thrill of it. I hold this movie in high regard as my favorite action movie of all-time. He'll be back no doubt. He saw his buddy Sly Stallone revive himself and he'll do the same. This whole governor thing was a total waste of time. Nothing against Arnold doing what he wants to do, but he's an actor, not a politician. Acting was his calling. We missed out on what could have been some pretty good sequels. Twins, True Lies, maybe even another Predator movie. It's time to come back for just a couple more movies Arnold. If Sly can do it, so can you.

He has subsequently changed his mind on the whole 9/11 thing - at least according to his one-time assistant Van Ling. Apparently enough time has passed so he's cool with it now. And of course Tom Arnold mentioned recently about True Lies 2 as well (although that is to be taken with a grain of salt).

As far as the plot - Arnold is probably old enough for the Charlton Heston role now - the head of the agency. And of course, it could be about his and Jamie Lee Cutis' life as married spies.

Tell me about it. I watched a Making of : Terminator 2 once. It was rare. They talked about how Cameron was the king on continuity in film. He had basically no continuity errors ever. He is an amazing director.  Did you see "Salvation" yet?

Yeah. It was WAY better than T3. But no where near T1 & T2. I'd probably give it a 6/10. The best scene was the one with CGI Arnold/T-800. Otherwise though, the whole film was pretty bland. There WAS a ton of action, but compared to T1 & T2, it was very mediocre. T1 & T2 had a ton of action, but also (what the others lack) a dramatic undertone which connects with us on a personal level. T3 was a fucking joke. T4 probably the best we'll get without Cameron being involved... which is sad.

I just wanted to add: T4's musical score was fucking terrible. There were hardly ANY original themes. Bull shit! All these shit directors are so interested in "Making it their own" they totally lose sight of what it was supposed to be in the first place. Thus, the continuety is totally screwed up in T3 and T4.

Expl- In T1 Kyle says: "We only go out at night, because the machines cant see as well." ... However in T4 Kyle says: "We only go out during the day." You see, everything is messed up

kyle is young in t4. the machines arent as advanced yet in the year t4 is set. in t1 kyle is like a good 15 years older so things are obviously different.

t4 = t-600's

t1 = kyle coming from atime the t-800's rule and the humans have lazer weapons etc

The composition in the second phrase of this is sheer genius. It hooked me immediately at the beginning of the movie, and the movie kept its weight with the score. Very elite feel to this.
