when you start to play guitar your fngers and and wrist will hurt untill they start to get used to playing. you dont tell somone to give it up thats just stupid. maybe yo should learn some scales and basicaly learn to play guitar before giving out advice. hopfully your better now or did you just give up. epiphone is not a bad guitar its verry good for its price range. but basicaly if your a good guitarist you can make the cheap guitars sound really good.

I will see what I can do. If your amp has a gain switch, try turning that up to full and hopefully it will sound distorted.

The distortion is caused by my amplifier but it isn't a very good amp. You can get much better distortion by using a traditional effects peddles or in my case, if I bought a more powerful amp. My guitar like all electric guitars can be played without any distortion at all. It depends how you like your guitar to sound. :)

Hey, my tuners are just how they were when I got the guitar although it is about 10 years old now at least. They might have changed/improved them on the newer models.

Welcome;) But Eh, something like that. feel that Im ok mentalaity wise; pretty hindered on a physical level Long story that i choose not 2 bore U w/ cuz fuck, i bore myself typing about it Basically had my guitar 4 2 yrs & havent been able 2 play it properly cuz of this weird knot in my wrist that ive had for 5 years.basically a pretty fucked situation Im starting school soonish this month, gonna take guitar classes&not quite sure if i'll ever achieve my goals generally w/ this shit in my wrist

Hmmm, take it slowly and don't play too much in the beginning and just see how your wrist holds up. If it hurts too much change to an instrument that doesn't put too much pressure on it. That's what I'd do. Also, you could always play the guitar by putting it on your lap, like hawaiian guitar players do. It can be learned that way and it might take pressure off your wrist although they tend to play with slides.

With acoustic guitars it depends on how much you want to spend. The best brands are Martin, Taylor, Maton, Larrivee, Guild and Gibson but they are all quite expensive as each brand has their own trade mark sound. Also it depends what style of music you play. Some acoustics are better suited to chord strumming with a plectrum while others sound better finger picked. They do vary a lot so it is always a good idea to try them out first in a shop before you buy to see which you like best.

Yeah, they are good cheap electric guitars if that is what you are after. They are fairly basic but they've a good raw sound and you can always upgrade to a more expensive Les Paul later on. I am only playing through a rather rubbish practise amp with little power but if you plugged it into a big PA system it would sound alright. ;)
