I don't understand why Masashi didn't use any of Pit's reflector moves. He has two of them. That could have changed the match entirely if he did.

They wont reflect bananas already on the ground, and Dede would more than likely throw the bananas elsewhere. He never threw them at long distances enough to warent a reflector. Any reflective move would result in a punishing counterattack from Dede.

But "Diddy" didn't, and threw them directly at Pit most of the time. I don't know what you're doing to reflect things, but reflecting anything back at someone almost always disrupts their timing.
