Is the Dragon Rib better than the Magic Dragon Horn dropped by the Bahamut?

I mean,the Magic Dragon Horn increases 30% of the user's attack, but the Dragon Rib increases 10% and makes the user stronger as HP falls, so which is better?? Help me please!

How do you get soul crush? im really noob at this game..

If you look at a weapon it will sometimes say 'Special Attack' if I remember correctly. When you fill the gauge to 100 any character equipped with a weapon that has a special attack can perform a soul crush. Once you get four of these weapons keep in mind that only Rufus and The Valkyrie can chain your soul crushes to four under normal conditions.

A mage's soul crush is determined by the first spell they know, for example Lezard starts with fire storm so he knows Animate Earth, but I have a special weapon on Lezard that lets him use a different soul crush as you can see by the video.

Yes, sometime after this video I have, it's somewhat more difficult then other monsters. You can go to Valhalla to practice on the weaker dragons there when you wanna target a specific part.

dude---Valkyrie Profile, the first game, came out WAAAY before FF12--and they had the Purify soul attacks in THAT game

--the game is based on Norse Mythology, and Freya is a Norse god (though the original was male).

FF12 used Valkyrie Profile's Purify SOul because their companies merged, so Square was able to use it from Enix (they made VP, the first game).

They are on previous floors of the Seraphic Gate. To unlock it you have to be directly before the last boss battle, which would be right after Lenneth, Silmeria, and Hrist leave your party.

Just try to Directly Assault Bahamut so you will get Infinite Admiration, I just got 1 or 2 Infinite Admiration (S) and Magic Dragon Horn. But I did not get Evil Eye of Death (that has +30% MAG).

The Valkyrie profile games are to be honest one of my favorites, it has nothing to envy games like FF. VP has addictive gameplay, good graphics, nice plot line even thou its not linear (or somewhat kinda) and probably the best soundtrack of all RPGs.

i used silmeria,rufus,leon and dylan fighting this fella. with silmeria rufus and leon equipped with double edge/triple edge and with low hp(stonecutting pincers). also i equipped them with flame mist(be surely not to be hurt) dylan is my airborner.

What is the factor for the kind of great magic that you can do? Is it each wand that you equip or the magic that you put as your attack?

In VP2 it is based on the mages default spell, HOWEVER there are two and only two weapons that will change the mage's great magic, they are 'Wand of Apocalypse' which lets you use Pale Flare, and the 'Holy Wand of Telos' (I think its called)which lets you use Phantom Destruction.

this games damage system sucks, vp1's damage system is way better.and the great magic should have been spell specific,which means when your using lightning bolt for instance the great magic should be dragon bolt and if the spell used is fire storm the resulting great magic should have beeb calamity blast.how very dissapointing

True that was a downside, especially the fact that enemy great magic hits the whole party while yours (by my experience at least having never really looked into it) does not like in the first one.

yeah it only hits one enemy,i hated that.and you know when you played VP1 and you use great magic it shows all the enemies being hit by the great magic thats one of the best things about VP1.ohh and they reduced the great magics that you can perform.when i use magic im like thinking where is mystic cross or its great magic special celestial star...

Great magic is dependent upon which spell the mage starts with. The only exceptions are in the case of Pale Flare and Phantom Destruction which can only be obtained in Seraphic Gate on two special wands. Other than that, the Great Magic is based on the caster, not the weapons.

I agree, personally I wish it was based on what spell they had equipped. It used to annoy me that I couldn't use certain mages in key fights because their GM would have had no effect or healed them. But, since that is about the only complaint I can muster against this game, I think it is forgivable. It is one of the best games I have ever played aside from that little caveat.

yeah your right it was that one of the downside but i still freakin loved vp2 even though it has its downsides,what i liked about is its story and some of the returning characters like my favourite character brahms(he is the best) and lezard valeth too(but i didnt like his new voice it was too bass, unlike the vp1 he had a cool voice but ohh well still like him) i would be really psyched too if they make vp3 that would be awesome right?

Bahamut is nothing to b trifled with after the 10th playthru of the gate.... without the sheathed power commandment, it does crazy damage...my freya is not doing much damage anymore even with the angel slayer...wish I ripped a couple more evil eye of death from him in my 2nd playthru...5 are not enough
