Two burning questions.

Were those pots he was glazing greenware, or bisque fired?

The little pads of what looked like clay he was using to stick the next shelf onto the pot, so he could stack another pot on top again... How do they not stick/fuse to the pots?

Those chunks are so small, they disenigrate in the kiln.
