i agree. but it was so misused. we filipinos are so fickle minded. we forget everything after a few years. but i'm pretty sure the families of dead filipinos during the marcos era still remember the horrors that their families went through. our situation today does not justify marcos as being a better leader rather, it was the marcoses who laid the foundation to our present corrupt government. it will take some time to heal what the marcoses started. it's probably not gonna happen anytime soon.

I'm so sad about those Victims of human rights during the Marcos time....However speaking of corruption i think it happened even before the Marcos regime. Therefore i would say. It is not good to blame to Marcos all the misery of the Filipinos' lives today...because during his time our economic status was far more ahead compared with the other Southeast Asian countries. Look at the Philippines now. Where are we at now?
