  • an hx-35 over a smaller ht3b wont support a much power as a bigger setup obviously but wilk spool probably as fast as stock

  • @CustomDeluxe1984 a common setup for towing twins, which a kfast spooling because thats what you want for towing is

  • Must be a terrible twin set up. Ultra lag.

  • @Hot7Rod644 probably true, this video is a few years old. probably not a great setup

  • @Hot7Rod644 may be laggy but I bet it makes up for it once them twins kick in! what kind of power you guys making at the wheels?

  • @Hot7Rod644 what would be a good setup for the least bit of lag on a cummins?

  • @CustomDeluxe1984 Depends on how much fuel you have. You dont set up turbos to a motor, you set them up for how much fuel you have. Have a edge with hot unlock? you dont need compounds. Have a 12v with laser cut delivery valves, 0 fuel plate, 370's? compounds needed. hx35 closed wastegate and a phat shaft 66 would spool great and have plenty of manifold pressure (boost). It's called air/fuel mixture, the more balanced the mixture, the greater it performs.

  • @Hot7Rod644 no its a cummins.... God created turbo lag to give v8's a chance..(powerstroke, Dmax)

  • doesnt look like a gm inside at all and you can here the sound of an inline six

  • Nice cummins man, do you have the 3000 or 4000 gsk on there?

  • @InhumaneClient its a 24v vp44

  • @boosteddiesel that dont answer the mans question bo

  • @Twankiejones yes it does, a 24v vp44 is an electronic engine, so it doesn't have a governor, so it wouldn't have a 3000 or 4000 governor spring kit.

  • chevy interior?..give me a break..go look at a dodge u retards,,its a dodge..

  • Hell yeah twin turbo that's what it's all about xD

  • you people are fucking idiots !!!!!! "must be a gm truck" look at the fucking dash, and "its on jack stands" show me one ANYTHING with turbos that can build that much boost with the wheels off the ground. you dick bags, learn before you post your stupidness all over the place !

  • nice boost, i was watching the gas gauge to see how fast it drains by doing that :D

  • Umm pretty sure the boost gauge never even got over 60. How that is close to 70 I'll never know

  • who cares about all that, did nobody see his speedometer?

sure its on a dyno but could you imagine that on the road

  • your fucking retarded.

  • does the boosr dpor off after 3k rpm?

  • yeah look at the Red line in it. its not a 8000 RPM revver like my car, its redline is like 3500 it looks like

  • thats because its a diesel

  • haha ok ya i know what you mean. thats why im building a nova and not putting a supercharger and shit on my truck.

  • @34SkiLLz14Luck WHO CARES ABOUT A CAR. Deisel power is the way to go. I tow my stang to the track just to sell it.

  • @34SkiLLz14Luck

dude fuck off, so since i drive a diesel im redneck? your way the fuck off man. i hate rednecks jus as much as you. funny thing is my 13.5 sec, 7600 lbs. fully loaded 4x4 dually makes 550hp and the ONLY thing ive done was a ECM tune and built the tranny...o i forgot to mention im getting 20mpg DAILY DRIVING IT!! can your car do that? nuf said..

  • lmao most trucks like this pull there cars to the track. they just wanna make there truck better they prolly got a car too. and no u cant just buy a car and do 8s thats damn fast u would spend tons more money these trucks come stock with more hp and tq then most cars will ever see

  • @34SkiLLz14Luck sure theyre a couple seconds slower in a quarter mile but theyre better for a lot more things. other than to take it to a track

  • @34SkiLLz14Luck hmm seen full size chevy duramaxes run 8's with 1400 horse douche bag

  • hummer h2 wheels on a dodge? lol

  • That is a bad ass diesel setup in that truck!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • dodge wanting to be a gm..... look at the h2 wheels.... badass though

  • i just came a little....

  • look at the speedo

  • can I ask why once it spools up, and even though he's still on it, the turbo loses boost and slows down? It seems like that's what I'm hearing, but I'm not sure. Thanks.

  • nooo thats the old gauges...anywhere from 02 and under....just fyi..

  • Thats the new cummins diesel. the gauges are dodge gauges

  • dayyuuummmm!!! lol

  • A GM...? No. A Duramax would never sound like that. Duramax diesels have a distinct sound. They sound much throatier and smoother at high RPM than say a Stroker or a Cummins. Cummins engines sound rackety and harsh, kinda like a "stereotypical semi." Strokers have a rather rumbled sound to them at high RPM and clanky at idle. I like Duramax and Cummins engines. Later Strokers have received a bad reliability rep and are disappointingly and frustratingly difficult to modify.

  • how come to anyvideo there is olways some jack ass that tries to say stuff like " thats not right or i doi it better" or tries to talk all technical damn i hate bitches like Reaper87xx

  • because its true. a duramax does run smoother than cummins or powerstroke, iv driven all 3 and the best one in my opinion is the duramax, iv had it for 2 years and its been through more abuse than my dads cummins and uncles powerstroke will be able to take. the only reason i say that is cause they had to call me to pull a trailer cause it was too had on thier trucks. all are 03 models and have roughly the same milage, within 5K

  • For what it's worth, I also would prefer you to pull a trailer pushing the limits of my truck. It always sucks to break your own rig, why not let somebody else break theirs.

  • the only reason i did it is cause our fam has feuds between chevy, ford and dodge. that and i knew that my truck can pull it, the only time she has struggles was the 13K lbs at the sled pull. i got 4 yards from the line and i got stopped, but she got further than i thought she would.

  • I agree, It's always great to out pull somebody else, I was just joking because of the way you said that. Chevy's are underrated by many people.

  • they are.. but i guess its the family your brought up in, what you have driven, and who tried to change your mind and failed. people have tried to get me to buy a powerstroke and i refuse. cant stand em plus i love my chevy, but its saved my ass countless times. i knew i got the 4x4 for a reason. and the duramax is allowing me to pull even more than i could with the gassers. my girlfriends dad wants to buy it from me but i aint givin her up trying to find one for him but with the allison 6 speed

  • This is amazing, maturity on youtube. haha. Right now I run a triton V-10 6speed manual. I just can't afford any diesel right now.

  • im still paying on mine... i got a loan thanks to my step dads amazing credit, well now its not but he worked up to it for years and i asked him to cosign for it, after almost 3 months he did and im lovin it., i gave 26 for it and put about another grand into it, she runs beautiful, i ran her today against my friends neon, played with him for a bit then decided to quit n actually race.. he was a little pissed cause he couldnt see but hes like me and loves the smell of diesel

  • Trust me haha I'm still paying on mine too.

  • i mean payments suck in this economy but the truck is well worth it... i just realized something, we both grew up liking different brands. and were having a civil conversation. y cant anyone else have one. plus i personally believe that most of the ppl on here that talk big are just little children that really dont have much of a life. lol

  • i think your right

  • CUMMINS FOR SURE

  • thats power

  • dodge power

  • holy shit look at the speedo

  • That's because it's on jack stands. LOL!

  • i kno! i just thought it was funny lol

  • No it's on a dyno.

  • Sure if that's what you want to call it.

  • sounds like he is rollin on a dyno

  • @claviz13 Fail....

  • You dont see too many vids on YouTube converted from VHS. cool

  • awesome vid

  • def a dodge

  • nice dodge

  • sound like a cummins in a chevy body

  • This is a Dodge 2500 w/ a cummins, I don't know why everybody thinks this is a GM.

  • I think it's because of the dash guages. The look kind of GM'y.

  • yup thats why, i thought the same, the Speedometer goes to the same ammount as my truck and the fuel gauge looks identical. The Tach is in the same place too.

  • Yeah. Looks GM to me too.

  • Def a dodge CUMMINS.

  • yah no way buddy, listen to the motor, thats a cummins buddy!!

  • Comment removed

  • must be a GM diesel truck?

  • It may look like it but it isn't, it's a dodge 2500.

  • @boosteddiesel dude i wanna see an outside video of it lanching or shootin smoke or aburnout or something. btw badass video

  • @boosteddiesel

Uber, how does that even look like a GM interior? Lol

  • is that single or twin turbo, still crazy as hell

  • Twin.

  • anyone know what kind of pyro that is ?

  • All I know is that those are Isspro gauges. Not sure on model. Go on their website and you probably can find them.

  • is this a truck, what vehicle is this?

  • dont know exact year but its a 2003 or newer Duramax Chevy 1500 or 2500 with twin turbos

  • Wow shows what you know, first off the duramax never came in the 1500. Second it's a dodge 2500, the only thing you got right was the twin turbos but that was a given since i have it in the description.

  • Wow thanks for being a fuckin Dick, i was only saying because all i really looked at in the video was the speedo and it looks exactly the same in the 01 Duramax 3500 i use for plowing in the winter, and thanks for telling me it doesnt come in a 1500, i guess i shouldve known that but you learn something new everyday,

And just for you being a fucking dick and trying to show out because your a sad little kid will just make Karma come back to you twice as bad .... get a life!

    Dodge BLOWS anyways!

  • P.S. my old school 6.2 N/A Diesel will pull this thing backwards in LOW!

  • hahahaha bosteddiesel whooped your ayass

  • Your very welcome.

  • wanna know something funny? My 2006 Dodge Cummins stock smoked chevys HDs. so if dodge blows are you saying they will blow you away??

  • yeah I'll agree with that.. and that also means a few more HP. and with some hard work and some luck I'll have my truck running again in a day or two and get some videos of it on here

  • higher boost does not mean higher charge temp. my '94 stroker is pushing 40PSI, NO intercooler yet and it STILL runs cooler then a lot of dodges I have seen

  • but running twins through an intercooler will give you a colder denser charge.

  • Apparently you guys don't realize this thing has twin turbos, which distributes the air between the two making high boost pressures without the hot air like in single turbo setups.

  • Um 70 psi eh... is ur gauge working right?

All I saw was 55 at most... agreeing w/ mxkid

  • What difference does it make? It's still frickin aweseome!

  • and if you watch the second pull it clearly makes it too around 70psi

  • I think cummins are over rated... so what if they are the best motor in a 3/4 they are definitely put in the ugliest truck imo...

  • To each his own.

  • did u wire ring the block deck?

my boost gauge only goes to 30!

U must have a huuuge intercooler to make use of that boost without the heat negating any benifit/ reducing density?

That cummins dragster web page is interesting it has compound turbo setup - small one and big one!

  • What are you talking about? Bigger intercoolers don't increase boost.

  • The higher the boost the higher the charge temperature, usually with standard coolers anything more than +5psi is pointless as the extra temperature reduces density to such an extent that u may have higher boost but less air!depending on intercooler, if any.

This is basic forced induction stuff.

With really high boost engines they even use iced water to cool air to water coolers.

So have u got a big un?

  • What is standard boost?

  • around 20-25. maybe a little high.

  • Have u measured power output at lower boost pressures?

    U may be loosing power with that much boost;

all the extra heat generated means u r getting LESS air into engine- this is why BIG intercoolers r used - u probably allready have one - I hope, also beyond certain boost turbo over revs, so gets beyond efficiency envelope!

  • sorry to rain on ur guys parade but thats only about 55psi not almost 70. gauge is 20-100psi with 20psi incriments.

  • at about 1 minute it hits 70 psi dipshit

  • get some glasses dipshit!

  • nice miata

  • is this a turbocharged durango???

    thats sickk!

  • No it's a twin turbo'd Dodge ram 2500

  • omg dude! ur stupid. u have no idea on what the hell ur talking about. "Is it a Durango?" dumbass can't u hear its a diesel?????

  • Well aside from the tachometer it is the same gauges thats in a 98-01 durango

  • so??? can't you hear the turbo and the knocking of a diesel and tell the difference between a gas job.

  • Oh of course i can, but i was just semi-defending the other guy...but it is obvious with the sound and the amount of boost the truck is running that its a diesel

  • ah ok. hahaha. i was gunna say. if u can't tell the difference then theres something wrong.

  • you must have armor plated internals

  • how much did she put down?

  • 596 i think,

  • damn man i saw ur 1000hp dmax take off vid! that things rediculous
