A mantra means a tool by which you can cross the boundary of your mind (mann). As par Vedic culture, the person, who has won his mind, has won the world. Since the existence of world, is a reflection of mind. If there is no mind, then there is world.

In Gayari mantra, we pray to the Lord of all the three possible worlds, Bhu: (earth), Bhuv: (inter space between eath and heaven) and Sva: (Heaven). To Thee, we owe, so that we get a pragyamati (pragmatic views/ intelligence) and His all blessing.

the singer says bhur bhavah when it is actually bhur bhuvah... a subtle difference but sanskrit mantras should be pronounced correctly. Also the is no emphasis on i in dhiyo.

Are you this good at everything? Some of us can barely get out 13 new words let alone worry about something equating an accent. It's easier for an English speaker to understand out of all the choices. (1) You can't speak as the official Sanskrit person who I ever heard of, and (2) we all know plenty of words that you CERTAINLY cannot pronounce, correctly or otherwise. Also, we proofread.

bhuvah is bhu+vah not bha+vah

varenyam is varen+yam not vare+nayam

dhiyo is dhiyo not dheeyo

nah is naha not na (the colon should not be left silent)
