LoL I can beat that, when they first came out I went to go pick one out as I was reading about them for months and couldn't wait, The first truck I looked at, I sat in, and like you said the interior looks like a 10k car. But then when I closed the driver side door, something INSIDE the door fell down, then the tailgate wouldn't latch. The salesman said the driver door was probably just a plastic piece used while shipping the truck to the dealership, I didn't buy it, literally. I got a F150.

I got a 05' f-150 with a 351c in it w/ the towing package included. We took it to the truck pulls and the tundra that was there had a racing cam in it's motor and a set of diggers. Our f150 had posi traction on all 4 tires and stock radials and we pulled the wedge 20 feet further than the modified tundra.

yeah same here. the tundra uses a c-frame while the american trucks use a fully boxed frame which is stronger and won't twist as seen by the tundra in many videos......

The Tundra actually has a frame that combines Boxed, reinforced C channel, and Open C Channel. I think they call it TripleTech. If you watch the video where Ford tests the all of the new Trucks at Ford's Milford Proving grounds. You'll see the Tundra's bed rattles and shakes with the vibration. Obviously the conditions they're testing aren't normal every day driving for anybody.

Both trucks have their own Pros and Cons. In these times i'd recommend American though.

Maybe after they learn from their initial mistakes, The Toyota 5.7 has had a ton of issues and critical failures. 4x4 Systems also are getting a lot of warranty claims. Just ask a Toyota Dealership Mechanic, they usually aren't biased. No bias here, I was in the dealership ready to buy a Tundra, but was deterred.

Really I just don't like the tundra. If you compared the Toyota Tundra standard package to all the other american trucks youd see it looks like a ford ranger. I havent even seen a toyota tundra come out of the factory with posi traction. I just wish everyone would figure out that if they live in a country whose economy is going downhill and we make good cars and it shows that. They should buy our cars instead.

i have not driven a tundra and ill admit it... but honestly I wouldn't want to... All toyotas are the same to me. More people think a tundra will outlast the ford in life but those same people will usually agree the ford would out-work the tundra. Well the way i see it is the longer that tundra i have on my farm the longer I have a truck that won't do the job. The ford if it doesn't do the job it'll break down and I can just buy a new one :) If the f150 wont do it.. they have many more trucks.

The f150 actually isnt that slow of a truck. We have a 2008 5.4l and it can get to 60 farely quickly, around 7.5, and i can get it into a burnout really easy. Bone stock except for a knn air filter. Nothing really.  And whats the song called when they're racing?

The Raptor is on our short list of must-drive vehicles. Although there will only be two engine options for the Raptor, the 320hp 5.4L V8 and the 400hp 6.2L BOSS V8. No 500hp engines in that truck.

Kind of, but it's cool in other ways. 13" of suspension travel out back, 11" in front, a 7" widebody kit, and the ability to do do 100mph on sand while jumping 20 feet in the air is pretty cool in my book. 500hp street race trucks a-la the Ram SRT-10 are kind of played out. If you want a fast car, don't buy a pickup truck. But if you want to do some serious high speed off-roading, the Raptor might be for you.

What was the 0-60 on it? The bronco me and my dad have been workin on is 0-80 in 6 to 7 seconds. It has heavy transmission mods, a cold air intake, and a good set of flowmaster super 40's. you can check it out on my profile. We don't race the truck but we're pretty confident that if in spun the 35's it came with it'll make a good run even after we downsized to 31's.

the only thing that could have made this better is if you raced the f150 vs a chevy silverado or dodge ram. The diesel never really stood a chance. Cool clip though
