  • haha i was just trying to spell the scientific name of these fish because their common name seems to change every time i see it listed somewhere and i THEN realize its in your comments... ha ... well either way ... gorgeous tank!!!

  • Where can I find driftwood like this?

  • where'd you get the wood? i see it in my local lake but its always rotten :/

  • @adgvibe Love the tank, what kind of driftwood is that? All I see at my local pet stores are chunky ones without any length to it.

    Thanks!

  • Very Zen! Just a question why the CO2

  • @ChazInFL123 There is no CO2..

  • I like how people comment on this. For example the missing heater issue. Bitches don't know bout my inline heaturrr. My 60-P doesn't have a heater either. the 30W LED unit heats it up just fine. A 150W MH would also heat it up sufficiently i presume.. Weekly waterchanges solves all other issues mentioned by Mr. Halliday.

  • how was this setup for 2 years if you use the same tank in every video

  • is that old black wood? where do i get them?

  • The tank looks great. I just don't think i'dd like to be a fish in there.....i'dd get real bored real fast.

  • IS that two many fish for the tank? How often are the water changes?

I notice you don't have a heater. How does that work?

  • how did you get that wood to sink? i have a piece like the one on the left and its been soaking for ages but just doesnt sink? :S

  • @ProfStuartHalliday this aquarium was up for about 2 years.

  • @ProfStuartHalliday Do you actually think that in nature we have the full lush green planted scenes we create on the aquariums? Very rarely...

This is a great looking setup, and with a good filter, enough water changes and gravel vacuum there should be no issues whatsoever. I would add some moss to the rocks, but that would be it.

  • Nice! Could I ask what lighting you have used above? Thanks.

  • big art !

  • I would kill for wood like that.. absolutely kill

  • @TheBonsly dude they sell it! California, Arizona... where so you live?

  • @TheBonsly I agree, never seen anything like that readily available around here

  • Verrrrrrrrrrrrry nice!

  • onde Amano consegue estas raizes???

  • What kind of gravel was used in this tank?

  • Very nice setup!!

  • its good coz of the wood....

  • thats amazing :|

  • Wow! super nice setup!

  • whats in your filter to get it so clear

  • Needs some plants

  • @MriBackup duhhhh!!!! thats why its called hardscape

  • @harrygats I know, but just darf baby tears and moss on the drift wood would look soooo good, Maybe a sword in the left corner. And some decent looking fish with color!

  • @MriBackup good point though

  • fake and gay

  • @HeywoodJablowem how is this fake?

  • @iantan24 it's random trolling, dont get your panties in a wad

  • hi question what kind of drift wood is this and where can i find it!!! please help bcus im setting up a fish tank and i would love to get something like this!! oh and really awesome tank!!

  • How much lighting do you typically use on these hardscape-only tanks?

  • Comment removed

  • 5555tman - we typically use trimless open top tanks - there's not really any danger in dirt or dust getting in the water.

  • Do you always leave the aquarium open at the top? No concern about dirt or dust getting in?

  • I have mixed feelings about this layout. On one hand the rockwork and driftwood couldn't be much better. Also, it's not a copycat design of other ADA tank designs. On the other, the total lack of plants and dull looking fish leaves me cold. It kind of reminds me of how old time salt water fish only tanks were done with dead coral skeletons. However, aquascapes are very subjective, and others may love this layont.

  • cool video ADG crew. I like the layout, and think the fish compliment it well. It would have been nice to see some shots of the lighting, filtration, lilly pipes, plumbing etc. Keep em comin!

  • Nery nice work Jeff. Now do it with a justin beiber remix, for the kids, ya know?
