Did it exactly as shown in SMP and it didn't work at all. Spiders just didn't die.

I love this design, but maybe it doesn't work on SMP? The spiders catch fire, but don't get hurt and are immediately extinguished by the water.

@djAnakin My bad. lava has to be in the south west corner. It works just fine in SMP.
