@AdamNedeff Its obvious Letterman grew up on those 1940's cartoons of stereotyped Asians and Blacks. Jokes of eating "spiders and live carp" is like watermelon and fried chicken for blacks.
Adam, racist humor isnt always over the top Michael Richards screaming the N word over and over like a maniac.
@knowallcity Yeah, that's kind of the joke. You have schools where Asian instructors are teaching Americans how to prepare their native cuisine, so these two schools obviously immersed in Asian culture are being represented by a bunch of non-Asians since they're the ones taking the classes. Besides, if there was even ONE Asian person there, I'd be sitting here replying to some guy's complaint about how racist it is that an Asian person gave a correct answer to a question about Chinese food.
Letterman was a renegade back then. So innovative. People that are too young to remember don't know. This guy set the mold for tor Conan and the like. The old Letterman show on the 6th floor was like a fraternity in and of itself. Nothing like what his show is now. The intimacy of the studio also had a lot to do with it
I know I am only 21 and I missed all of his best work but I see him on youtube and Letterman now is nothing like the younger Letterman...it bothers me that people only acknowledge the modern Letterman
Another great part is that no matter what had happened, the last question would have won the game for either team. It was worth 200 while the others only combined for 190.
This is the type of comedy stupid people don't get.

I also wasn't aware that Notre Dame and Hunan Wok University had the same fight song.

Freakin' hilarious. The funniest thing is how "straight" Dave is playing it.
Great posts, thank you!
