computer wise u really dont need to program it it only throws a engine code becuase of issues witha the rear 02 sensor and it wont effect the car in anyway u can just ignore it and go on with ur buissness

First of all i have a 96 v6 manual, and i to have the cobra emblem. I get told all the time that its a fobra, but my opinion is to have those emblems you should have a lot done to the car. Sounds like you plan to so keep the vid's coming because i like see the best v6's, so i can stay at the top.

i just got a 96 v6 mustang about a month ago and i love it its a badass car, ive got the underdrive pulleys on it so far waiting for cai and exhaust and alot of other stuff, i was never a fan of 6ers i used to have a 454 bb. but this car changed my mind fer sure

Dude! I have a 96 v6 that had headers and dual exhaust, I put a cold air intake on it and it's sounds even better! Then if you want, get under drive pulleys and your gas mileage increase a whole lot.

Just beakin you... Car looks like its in good shape. Thats nice to see. I do disagree with the cobra badge but ive seen worse. Hopefully your bit by the mustang Bug and someday youl get into a proper V8. And when you do, get the Manual.... So much better to drive.

@Mr95mustangv6 Yes I did actually, cause the computer doesn't automatically know the diff between a single cat single exhaust vs dual cats and exhaust. So you have to get it programmed to know the air-flow that's going through.

I have a 96 v6 too, and its very nice to me, I love my stang even when i always wanted a v8, but here in Mexico its hard to find a v8 stang, anyways when everybody look at me on my Stang says: Ah no mames wey, tienes un Mustang!!! XD

looks good but i dont like the sond of the 3.8s (ive got a 96 3.8 black just like yours) i use it as my DD but for the weekends ive got a 2001 cobra you cant beat the sond of a V8. But that you have one clean 96 it looks good but i personaly like the sond of the v8s more though. ive been looking for a exaust setup for my 96 but i think i might leave it stock.

i have a 96 v6 its my winter car cuz i have a 84 gt that has a fully built 306 the 96 is the junker that gets me through the snow so i dont have to drive the nice car i still have to say my 84 runs 12.50s in the 1/4 and the 3.8s are junk and slow as shit

@MrLucky13will well i can answer your hp question with out him asnwering lol the 94-98 v6s are single port engines factory rated at 145hp/215tq on the other hand the 99-04 v6 mustangs are multiport engines same engine block just different upper/lower intakes with diff cyl heads. they were factory rated at 190hp/235tq. now keep in mind those figures are at the crank before the drive shaft and the rear end i dont know how much hp you loose to the wheels but im pretty sure its like 30hp .

I don't have anything against people who buy the V6 automic mustangs they're a great car but please don't try to dress a V6 automic stang' to look like a cobra. There's a reason they don't make V6 cobras they're slow as shit and sound like crap unless your run the right mufflers which you obviously aren't

so step up and buy a real mustang someday

Sounds awesome! I posted a exhaust video of my stang, but it's an old vid and the quality suck ass. I really need to do a new video. I just replaced my spark plugs (NGK plugs) & ignition wires. Plus changed the fuel filter, got an oil change, in which I installed a K&N oil filter. I also just got tail lights tinted. I'm redoing my tint to 27% to 15%, paint my interior from tan to black, and replace my 10k hid's to 8k. I really want a CAI, but I got to wait until I get some more money.
