Don't get me wrong I enjoy the film, it did take you on a journey and touched alot of people.

But even if the film was black and white with the whole good guy and bad guy I still didn't see the marines(marines are always marines) as bad guys.

And even if the planet really did look like paradise, I am not willing to ditch earth like that along with many countries especially America.

But I am not being a hater on the film, I enjoy James Cameron's film especially Aliens! I did a review on both.

I loved the movie, but honestly I was fucking sad when the Colonel and the Marines lost against the goddess "Eywa" and Sully.

Hey I take it as a compliment, you need a goddess to kill americans. Especially when they are Marine vets. and have a First Recon Marine Col. who should of totally said "I am back....Baby, Hail to the king." or at least said "I love the smell of napalm in the morning." @USMCCptKennedy They wern't proper professional soldiers. They were mercenaries, hired guns, fighting for money, not passion or the survival of humanity. Hopefully Earth will come back to properly invade Pandora in Avatar 2

And transition from military to civie for some is very hard.

@USMCCptKennedy People still support the troops, they just don't see the necessity of the wars that they are fighting today. Take the British Army for example. Over here we love our troops but too many people advocate the easy option of just leaving Afghanistan without thinking of the long term consequences. 10 hard years of sacrifice and progress will be undone and Afghanistan will be a breeding ground for Islamist extremists again. Also I totally agree about the difficulties of Civvie street.

Because no job with good pay is going to want expert with a M16, or a man who took point in a brave engagement.

and in short no business employer would take: I fought for our country's freedom.

Blackwater, and this film security firm was basically the same exact thing, men who fought for freedom, but struggles going into civilian life.

@USMCCptKennedy Plenty of jobs are willing to take on former soldiers at least in the UK. I hear that Gurkhas are highly prized by security companies looking for bouncers and doormen. Armed Police Units like CO19 also appreciate talent from former military types. Many soldiers in the British Army also leave the Forces with professional skills in their respective fields that make them highly desirable in the world of work. Leadership and Organisation found in officers is especially sought after.

@Fuvido Trailer music is always different from the films soundtrack, since generally the soundtrack isnt released until the film is screened in cinemas. Plus, it doesnt always work for trailers, hence the need for people like Audiomachine, a company who make music specifically for movie trailers =) And you are right, James Horner had nothing to do with any of the music used here =)
