I think the point is: this music piece doesn´t remind any Mongolian style - as far as I know, sure (I don´t know much) -, and the dance could be from many (maybe ANY) parts of the world. That´s why some of us certainly make some confusion. Who and how could REALLY clarify all this???

Never was and won't be!!! In history Mongolia was only vassal to Qing Dynasty, also known as the Manchu Dynasty which is founded by Manchu people (not chinese, they were nomads too) about 300 years.

Yes, you are correct mongolians speak mongolian. Mongolian is in Altaic family. Mandarin is not in Altaic family.
