  • Chill guys... there was just a glitch in the gameplay of God 2.0

  • "a lightning discharge in a thundercloud can temporarily change the electric field above the cloud where charged ice crystals were reflecting sunlight. The new electric field quickly re-orients the geometric crystals to a new orientation that reflects sunlight differently. In other words, a lightning discharge can cause a sundog to jump. Soon, the old electric field may be restored, causing the ice crystals to return to their original orientation."

  • That's glass and moisture (water drops pooling) from breath or a breeze on the glass dividing from the outside.

  • @truvelocity Um, no, its not. It is pretty easy to tell its there, considering when the lens moves, the movement stays where it should be and does not move with the lens.

  • This is from a defective "BLUE BEAM" cloaking projector on a military blimp. See PROJECT BLUE BEAM

  • @teomeimf omg stfu plz

  • Its a farting cloud

  • Crazy! I have never seen a cloud do THAT before!! :O

  • ioi

  • Looks like a guy doing bong hits

  • It's real! read about it! it's COOL!

    .

  • @abrigatti It's a static electric alignment field.

Polarized ice crystal lining up above or below a static electrical field. When the electrical field discharges the crystals are released back to their random positions and the electric field rebuilds, realigning them again.

That part of the cloud is a very thin 'sheet' of crystals that's not actually moving, you're just seeing the parts of that thin 'sheet' that are reflecting light directly at you as they move back into or out of realignment.

  • @olmecbones so, in general, very general, it works just like LCD? ;)

  • @Featinwe Lol! Yeah. Good analogy.

The idea of an LCD comes from some similar naturally occurring effects.

  • @guruoftheinternet. Fuck man. Let people believe what they want. Life on earth is fucking boring. I envy people who believe in things I call fantasy. I beg for this to be something more because I hate this planet. Let them be happy. Why is it such a big problem for you? Jealous because normal life sucks balls?

  • Go to apod.com click Discover the cosmos and search November 8

  • Search for "CHEMTRAILS" and "GEOENGINEERING" and do your own research.

  • Totally a unicrom at the bottom.

  • there is only one explanation... aliens o_O

  • FUCK CLOUDS

  • This thing is called a drop of water between two sheets of glass, and you know it.

  • @FredMicro Actually know. It's a Jumping Sun Dog. Wikipedia 'sun dog' it should explain it pretty well.

  • Don't worry it was my jizz.

  • this actually has a pretty good dramaturgy

  • Check NASA's Astronomy Picture of the Day, dated novembre 8 2011 for the scientific description.

  • fake between 0:44 0:48 the cloud moves with the camera.

  • @django60617 true, fake

  • very cool

  • UFOがワープして来たんだろきっと

  • HAARP

  • It's a sundog. A v ery well known atmospheric phenomenon.

  • @Madcat114 na i think itts aliens.. u never know,

  • @Madcat114 I wouldn't call them well known

  • @Madcat114 ...or it's a drop of water between two fucking sheets of glass... as the glass is compressed, the water thins, and creates this appearance as light passes through it.

  • great now the sky is broken

  • This looks fake

  • cloud fart

  • @AxxProducts THAT´S THE SMARTEST BULLSHIT U COULD CAME UP WITH?

  • fake

  • @Evelinatch It is not, at least my eyes are cheatting me, cos i saw this ;)

  • TY abrigatti.I've seen another sundog

but it looked like a Varilight changing colors slowly.

  • I came down here to the comments expecting conspiracy theories, and I was not disappointed.

  • ぎゃー

  • I feel a disturb ens in the force!!

  • DOES ANYONE ELSE SEE THE UNICORN AT THE BOTTOM?!?!?!

  • @MsBlissification LOL HOLY SHIT

  • @MsBlissification LOL HAHAHAHAHA

  • @MsBlissification Brohoof** ^-^/)(\^-^

  • @MsBlissification Worryingly yes, I do see the Unicorn

  • @MsBlissification I c the Unicorn!!!!

  • @MsBlissification Charlie the Unicorn is EVERYWHERE!

  • simplemente HAARP

  • Why the fuck do you all keep asking the same question? Read the comments BEFORE commenting!

The explanation for this video is here like 5 fuckin times.

  • magnets

  • "The answer lies in this: ice crystals, especially long needles, tend to become aligned with the ambient electric field.

So what you are seeing is sunlight reflecting off ice crystal faces that are constantly being oriented by the developing electric field just above the [cumulonimbus] top. Then there is a discharge in the cloud, and the field collapses momentarily, and the crystals begin to realign again. Then this just keeps happening over and over."

FUCKING SCIENCE HOW DOES IT WORK

  • @TheSchimmi ...or it's just a drop of water being compressed between two sheets of glass.

  • For the curious: apod.nasa.gov/apod/ap111108.html

  • Lol @ Sunburn15

  • Plasmoid

  • i think you found the iCloud

  • @sunburn15 touche motherfucker. xD

  • I can has NASA explanation pls?

  • Where is the nasa explenation?? :o

  • HAARP/ Chemtrails.

  • @sanluisskywatch HAARP / CHEMTRAILS / ALIENS

  • NASA's explanation: A lightning discharge in a thundercloud can temporarily change the electric field above the cloud where charged ice crystals were reflecting sunlight. The new electric field quickly re-orients the geometric crystals to a new orientation that reflects sunlight differently. In other words, a lightning discharge can cause a sundog to jump. Soon, the old electric field may be restored, causing the ice crystals to return to their original orientation.

  • It's a glitch in the matrix

  • "If you know meteorology, then these are sundogs arcing over rainclouds. If you don't know meteorology, then they're hostile UFO's preparing to invade Earth." - Neil deGrasse Tyson

  • @xoxoitsjen Well I didn't know but because of people explained it I now know :P

  • HURRY! Someone get that cloud an amber lamps! Its having convulsions!

  • Definitely airbending.

  • It's like you guys have never seen the Bat Signal during the daytime or something...

  • Не замечал такого в небе.

  • HHMmmm.. natural effect... uh huh.... ok ¬¬ and I will pretend that I believe that man walk in the moon and Bin Laden downs the WTC ¬¬ !!!

I am observer enough to not believe in this shits, I seek the truth and I find them, you should be the same !!!

Better, look the skyes more times, you know HAARP ? You realy should look for other sources of information, watch documentary Zeitgeist The Movie.. David Icke's documentary... do not let yourself be fooled by govern !!!

  • @budweisex You are an idiot and a child.

  • @babylonian Look who's talkin' (by your face ¬¬)...

Ever seen the saying... "Those that reads know a lot, but those that observes know much more" !?!

  • @budweisex Your grammar: improve it.

  • @budweisex ...or it is just a drop of water being compressed between two sheets of glass.

  • why do iphones always film like a little slit why not the whole picture?you would think they would have fixed this by now.

  • @chrisw40 It's because he held it up the wrong way. He held the phone vertically, instead of horizontally (landscape mode).

  • @omnipotentbeing oh cool ha alot of people must do it the wrong way everytime i see an iphone video it looks like this lol

  • truth is stranger than fiction

  • It's a g-g-g-g-ghost!!

  • chemtrails !

  • I miss living in the tropics and seeing weird stuff in the clouds. Except this is definitely one of the weirdest!

  • @ronpack So weird, it can't possibly be a drop of water being compressed between two sheets of glass. Nope, it's a phenomenon in the sky!

  • @GuruOfTheInternet

How exactly so? It's not glass on the camera because the camera is moving and if it's sheets of glass above the camera then what is compressing the glass? Duplicate this and film it or I don't believe it!

  • HAARP!!!!....... just kidding! it's sundogs lol. nature is awesome!

  • Clouds aren't supposed to move like that!

  • sinister!

  • Awesome Capture! I've shared it with my storm chaser buddies!

  • It's monsters! These is the end times, y'all!

  • A dragon. Fact.

  • Oh c'mon - lens flare?

  • @evermore8888 The explanations from scientists who study weather are crap? And what about the other examples of the phenomenon. Lol! What's YOUR amazingly insightful explanation?

What's abnormal about ice crystals being affected by energy fields that constantly build up and release in large clouds? You ever play with iron filings and a magnet? Imagine that, with ice crystals, but you can't see them all at any one time because of the angle of the sun's light. Any layman can understand this.

  • @evermore8888 Theres no magic here, silly, and since when was it elitist to simply state facts? You misunderstood me anyway. I was only saying that the way iron filings move when magnetised is quite similar to the ice crystals(bits of cloud) aligning themselves with the column's changing electric field.

I didn't come up with the answer, meteorologists KNOW about the phenomenon and have explained it, due to this video becoming popular. Not just NASA, by the way, LOTS of sites have covered it.

  • @evermore8888 Oh and answer my question, why don't you. What is your oh so informed explanation for this cloud behaviour?

  • @evermore8888 oh wow... the crazy and paranoia is strong with this one.

  • @awalkingecho Why on earth is this comment spam? BA is an awesome blog Cx

  • @evermore8888 it's called a sundog you sack. it's not a ufo or government testing or even jesus. sundogs exist so much, that there's even a brand of sunglasses named as such.

if you are trolling however, i applaud you. your lack of common sense actually made me weep for this planet

  • @countspookula99 Holy shit, you and everyone else are ridiculously retarded. It's not a sundog. It's not a government test. It's not aliens. It's a drop of fucking water being compressed between two sheets of glass.

You should be ashamed that you only recently learned about Sundog's, and decided to spew your ignorant, and uneducated thoughts onto the internet. Good day.

  • @evermore8888 lol I bet you're a creationist too, with your intelligence skill

  • ALIENS FIGHTING! haha

  • wow, amazing, just amazing!

by any chance, do you remember how big was the area that was moving?

  • Aliens.

  • Aliens

  • Hahaha...nada mais é do que uma luta entre Goku vs Vegeta...Vai dizer que seus olhos nao acompanharam o movimento deles!!

  • I don't know what it is, but it is spooky for sure.

  • Wow awesome video! I saw it on APOD.

    Congratulations!

  • It may be sundogs in the centre of the vid but what kind of dog is that at the bottom right?

  • i love APOD

  • glitch in the matrix.

  • I'm not from the site but bookmark it as my home page. This posting is a credit to abrigatti and appreciated by the scientific community.

  • That's so cool.

  • am flattered to see this being featured as the image of the day by NASA's APOD - thanks folks! And most importantly, I do like their explanation! :)

  • @abrigatti Yeah, I get APOD daily. Loved seeing your video this morning as I had watched it here on YT first. Congrats bro.

  • @abrigatti what was the explanation?

  • @abrigatti your video is featured on nasa' Apod website :)

  • @rockeraditya - thanks for letting me know. it is amazing to think that I simply recorded this on my iPhone and posted it because I was curious to find out the natural effect that caused it. Didn't realise it would prove toooo popular. The power of nature is simply amazing :)

  • Comment removed

  • Sundogs - anyone else here from APOD?

  • @gaulpict or Mulder and Skully from the FBI?

  • @gaulpict Yes , and the theory fits better than any I heard . Like Project Poo Beam , or something like that .

  • wait!.. whaaat?? o_O what the f*** just happened to that little bright cloud? what's making it jump around and shape-shift like that?? :-? that's ...... very peculiar, to say the least

  • @notubeplease

I take it you're not here from the NASA APOD website then?

The explanation is that lightning discharges in the cloud cause rapid changes in the electric fields surrounding ice crystals in the cloud, making them reflect sunlight differently very rapidly.

  • Mmmm, it looks like a drop of water in the objetive more than a strange nothing.

  • ...and leaves

  • I love fake shit.

  • @FKorany You love fake ice crystals? odd.

  • @AmusedMostly Not as much as I love fake videos.

  • @FKorany Weird, no fake video here. Just ice crystals being rearranged in a magnetic field, like little iron filings being harrassed by a magnet.

Google bad astronomy blog, there's a scientific explanation from a meteorologist for this phenomenon, and more examples over there too!

  • Wtf is this? Scary

  • Thumbs up if listening to strange clouds brought you here.

  • error in matrix

  • ALIENS.

  • At first I was like "what am I looking at?", but then I was like "Oh my god, we're all going to die!"

  • @sekzfett relax!

  • son goku fighting!!

  • An example of iCloud lag.

  • looks like a water bubble on the glass above the pool

  • Got your link from Slashdot... That was cool looking!

  • Source of some UFO sightings?

    {^_^}

  • neat high-altitude ice-crystal behaviour! I'll have to keep my eyes open, when the storm season swings around again. Maybe I'll be lucky enough to see something similar :)

  • what iphone could record 1080p HD in August? iPhone 4s was the first 1080p HD iPhone and it didn't come out until October.... o_O

  • @lifehackertips not it was recorded on my iPhone 3GS - but when I uploaded it, there was a selection of high-def or something, so I must have selected this; was trying to find the best way for people to tell me what I saw :) The other video here remains in the original quality etc. it wasn't on purpose, and the video is defo real and non-edited.

  • @lifehackertips my LG Optimus 2X record 1080p @ 30 fps since April.

  • @lifehackertips well... Samsung Galaxy S 2, this is lifehackertips, lifehackertips, this is the Samsung Galaxy S 2.

  • rainbow dash

  • @mouser1000 NO, It was abviously Fluttershy >:|

  • this is clearly caused by the honey badger. Does it fascinate you? well honey badger don't give a s#$t.

  • The answer lies in this: ice crystals, especially long needles, tend to become aligned with the ambient electric field.

So what you are seeing is sunlight reflecting off ice crystal faces that are constantly being oriented by the developing electric field just above the [cumulonimbus] top. • @sematic1 It's awesome to watch, and even more awesome to know how it works. Thanks for that!

  • @BoredInfidel Don't thank me. thank Walter Lyons, a meteorologist and Phil

  • @sematic1 You sound so smart when you use someone else's words.

  • @magreggins How about understanding the words? Ffs

  • @sematic1 Nope it's a cloaked alien ship having problems or a haarp problem. lol

  • @sematic1 Magic. Got it.

  • @sematic1 Yeah what he said lol

  • @sematic1 Bad Astronomy ftw

  • @hamneggwich Astronomy is about stars, not clouds.

  • @MissCephalopod Bad Astronomy is a blog, genius.
