    The responsibilities are great but the glory is greater. I want to modernize the Army of the Philippines.Spend all its funds in researchers, special training, adding more benefits the a soldier gets, buying weapons and last is opening the Bataan Nuclear Power Plant which will lead to cheap prices of electricity and in turn, will also enhance our productivity

  • it would probably be better if our goverment the philippine goverment replaces the m16 as our military's primary rifle cause its not suited for jungle warfare and it jams easily when not cleaned properly but i dont blame our soldiers cause they dont have the much needed funds to replace it with the corruption and all but i hope with the arrival of a new administration this old problems can be finally solved and id like to say im proud to be a filipino

Filipino Soldiers are real heroes, they survive the hardest conditions of all battlefields for the motherland, even when their uniform gets battle torn, they still use it! not like any US soldier that replaces his uniform evreytime it gets a small cut, filipino soldiers are heroes who use all remaining equipent, Old and New, rather than foreign troops that throw their rifles out when jammed or out of ammunition! Can't you tell the diference between Fil warriors and US troops?

  • MPD swat is also an elite force but an ill-equipped one. I really dont understand why some province have better swat team like Cebu Province SRU or lapu2x swat team. Supposedly Manila should have better because of biger capital investment. Besides like cebu police is finance by some local government units.This have been done by almost all citiies in cbu. Did it mean Manilal police still rely on PNP national budget.Thats why its never have an improvement. Damn still using that old m16.

  • @jazurc13 Special Forces yan hindi pulis. Those guys are Army Ranger Scouts, Navy Special Forces and Marine Special Forces Unit. They're the real deal, bad ass to the bone. They're not the ordinary soldiers, they are selected special elite group of people for special operations assault or covert assault operations.

They always need to keep training every week or every other day. To be in top shape, that's how they should think. Train all the time so that when the moment comes, they are ready show their skills.

Those guys in the military fighting in the jungles of Basilan, Sulu and other parts of Mindanao are probably one of the best fighters in the world today. And yes, they are ill equipped. They need better equipment in order for them to get the job done correctly but they're still kicking ass despite the fact that they lack better equipment. cheers..

    But what's shocking is that the suicide general (a former AFP Chief-of-Staff, 5 star general & Defense Secretary, West Point & Harvard graduate) was buried in the Funeral Park meant for National Heroes!

    What if he's proven guilty? Are we going remove him out from the grave?

  • @KhinShaider Well, he is not a HERO if he was not even in combat when he was active in the military. The cemetery for the Nationl Hero is only for those who fought against enemies of the country in a war (WWII and Korean war, Vietnam war or even those who fought in Mindanao against those Muslim Rebels). If he is not a War Hero then there is no reason to bury him there. My father fought the Japanese during WWII and he is buried there.

  • @KhinShaider Being a West Point graduate and even a Harvard Graduate means nothing if you're a criminal. Remember this always. Having an education does not mean a person is better than you. It only means he or she has that piece of paper that shows he or she passed a set of tests and was taught by higher paid educators in an accredited place of learning. It does not mean they are honest. It does not mean that they could be trusted. And it does not mean that they are not incorruptible.

The AFP troops are also ill-equipped, the old rusting military hardware from WWII that are still being used today by the AFP confirms this. A lot of arms of the AFP are very defective, and the government can literally barely feed each trooper.

  • @hapypirateYT You know, during WWII, the reason why the Japs never got to invade Australia was because of Filipino Soldiers. The Jap banzai attacks were no match to the Philippine marksmanship, the only reason why Filipino and American troops surrendered was because they ran out of supplies, while the Japs had excellent logistics. But imagine if our troops were supported by Roosevelt at that time sending them ammunition and supplies... What would've happen?

  • Only during your basic training and during certain schools. Other than that its like a regular job. I only drank my second time around in the Army though. A lot of Filipinos in the US Navy for some reason. There are a good number in the Army also.
