  • Better than the recorded version......brilliant!

  • This stuff was live! Wow! And they pulled it off rather nonchalantly!

  • Thats so long ago....still love it! Thanks!

  • btw, I love how he does the bass vocaly.

  • Awesome. Plain and simple.

  • I am ON the fucking train man

  • (̅_̅_̅_̅(̲̲̲̲̲̅̅̅̅̅̅(̅_̅_̲̅м̲̅a̲̅я̲̅i̲̅j̲̅u̲̅a̲̅n̲̅a̲̅̅_̅_̅_̅()ڪ

  • yah! its christmas time

  • that's ingenious!

  • You can see the love and respect Crosby has for Nash in this video....Beautiful moment!

  • Can you imagine being paid to do what you enjoy so much as these two obviously did? what a dream.

  • Their harmony is perfect!

  • check out the harmony

  • All i can say is "thank fuck for Drugs and the Sixties maaaaaayn"...

    Just stunning music....

Now where did i put my time machine.... :)

  • going to Merrakesh in January. Won't be listening to this song though. It's kind of lame.

  • @MacLabFever haha thats funny! :)

  • Has anyonelse noticed that all throughout this video, Nash looks like he's gonna burst out laughing ?

  • DONT YOU KNOW YOU'RE RIDING ON THE SOCIALIST EXPRESS? occupy really fellas? where's Stills? bet you he called you a couple of classA hypocrites and told you to f off and or something about not giving into fear... You can bet your ass you just lost a fan who could afford to pay for your Yesteryear Pablum...

  • pure mischief

  • high or not... can't tell... But these 2 are cooking; instruments, voices, voicings. Watch: each have at least 2 different rhythms or voices going. Nothing is routine. These guys are good (hope good isn't too strong a word. ;) )

  • Some of the greatest harmonies ever came from this duo, in my opinion. Beautiful!

  • wtf is that :o

  • Crosby is feelin it at 1:30 lol awesome

  • Nice video. Nash and Crosby are very young in this. Best song ever! Love it!

  • I wish I had their talent and they each had a feather up their asses.

    We'd all be tickled.

  • hi

  • Here's what's missing in today's music : T A L E N T !!

  • I met them today! They were very nice to me! Crosby even stopped to sign my bag! <3

  • Anyone know the chords they're playing??

  • that shit is dope.

  • Lighting one up right now.

  • Two man and two guitars is all it takes to feel happy

  • Nash is such a nice guy. I met him and Crosby July 31st, 2008. He had been on The Colbert Report the night before, and was wearing the shirt. I got to hang out with him and Cros backstage before show and after. Good times.

  • @ASonOfRevolution you lucky bastard

  • @HelluvaBadShot It pays off that my mom is friends with David Crosby. They're still quite amazing now, despite their old ages.

  • can some one tell me the chords on this song ?

  • Awesome !

  • great moment:)

  • What a trip! A cool, good one....

  • No auto-tune there!

  • Man, what a great unplugged version.

  • very awesome, music just not as good as this anymore

  • I live in casablanca !

  • so little international travel these days. we wish it were'nt so muchtrouble to go to north africa

  • I'm so glad others like this song, I was beginning to wonder if I was strange as it wasn't a top 10 hit. I think it's fantastic and I only heard it first time last week!

  • I met mr. Nash in 72, He invited me in for lunch. Such a nice man.

  • Two and a half minutes with more talent than entire careers worth of today's empty shells of recording artists!

  • Oh yeah! Thanks for posting...

  • They've been off and on for a long time. Anyone know what year this was?

  • Something so peaceful and joyful about this music. Awesome post, great find! I sure do love these guys!

  • Fab! Saw them last year. Still performing. Still brilliant.

  • Rode this train 2 weeks ago

  • David is so high in this one...okay, probably most.

  • The history of this song is very interesting .

    The meaning

    The place

    The time

Why it was written -- look it up

I have not been but I want to go abroad that train!

  • That was brilliant.

  • david crosby looks so stoned hahaha

  • this is so awesome! Too bad it's not the late 60's right now.

  • I notice that Nash played with Crosby, Stills played with Young, Crosby, Stills and Nash played together, but Nash never paired up with Stills. Crosby even sat in with Stills and The Buffalo Springfield at Monterrey. Its as if Nash won't play with Stills unless there is someone between them.

  • magic!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 10 people couldn't get a ticket to have a ride on the Marrakesh Express

  • high as fuck

    still love em

  • I'm 16 and i LOVE songs like this, not of that modern crap that's on the radios nowadays

  • @ixlovexmayxmaple doesnt matter what age you are this is just magic

  • he looks a little naughty...

  • Pure genius.

  • I LOVE david crosby's cameo in the simpsons! as lioenel hutz's sponsor!

  • is that John Bonham at 1:36?

  • @billyhay

It very well might be. Looks and sits like him

  • saw them last night! AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!

  • I can't believe....I only found out tonight that it's Marrekesh express....I always thought it was American Express!!! like the credit card!! ...all these years!! oh dear!!

  • Sheer brilliance.

  • Absolutely fantastic

  • Good shit mon !

  • fuck biscuits

  • For some reason I like this performance more than the actual recording.

  • Musicians don't do drugs today, that's the difference.

  • @ipalindromei242 theyre just not doing the right ones today

  • i love moroccan sky

  • I want to marry both of them!

  • My boyfriend just looks exactly like Graham Nash. After viewing this video, I just love him more.

  • saw these guys in the Royal Albert Hall sometime last year, still great going on 40 years of playing together.

  • OMG the guitars.

    Buy one, get one free!

    In those days already??

  • Correct me if I'm wrong but I see great Simon & Garfinkel influence in that song!

  • @maintrainJP how could that be? simon and garfinkel were writing music at this times, they were the same timeline.

  • Awesome version of Marakesh Express. David Crosby does some awesome backup vocals during the second verse (little doo doo doos =)

  • I'm getting the feeling from watching this that Crosby secretly wants to fuck Nash.

  • @tcvicesquad Parakeet tweet! The Croz and Willie are just 'blood brothers', that's all.

  • This is beautiful beyond words. Visually, I love seeing how much fun David Crosby is having performing this song. I'd feel the same way.

  • There is rarely any talent like this in today's top songs.

  • @utahaztec - I agree 100%. Most of the so called talented artists like Lilly Allen and Adele couldn't play an instrument or write a song to save their life. Lady Gaga is probably the only exception to the rule.

  • 10 people suffer from Siderodromophobia

  • Fabuleux ☼

  • the best.

  • does any1 kno the year for this vid (wen did they do it) ?

  • @eldelli My best guess is 1969.

  • i'm not moroccan but i have seen a map of it in an atlas; i'm also partial to a goat curry and i feel that this song is a respectable representation of some of, if not all, my preconceptions. thanx, nash.

  • @fatschlamp1 Goat curry, huh?

    great song.

  • YES!

  • a l'époque il n'y avait pas de train a Marrakech pour le public ..encore moins un express.

  • Simply beautiful. Magnificent song.

  • ive been saving all my money, just to take you there.

i smell the garden in your haaaaaair :)

  • If you disliked this you're a queer.

  • @DanielJoseDiego and you are a sexist asshole.

  • @ChrisLeeBear and you're a dumbass! Why does queer have to do with sex? ya dumbfuck, learn the TRUE meaning of the word you jackwagon. LOL.

  • @DanielJoseDiego SHHHHhhhhhhh

  • @ChrisLeeBear SHHHHHHHHHhhhhh

  • Comment removed

  • God Almighty, the TALENT !! These two guys have more talent in their little pinky fingers than 40 or 50 of today's hero worshipper wannabee "superstars."

  • @gaspo218 - I can agree but there are good music today, also. The problem comes from the equipment. Elvis had to be talent with 1 simple microphone, acoustic instruments and no hocus pocus in the machine room. Nowadays, "just press the button" and there you have it ...

  • @Gunnarlundh Right. I like Cee lo green, QOTSA, Goggel Bordello, and a bunch of others.

  • @gaspo218 You got that right .....what the musos of today dont know....

  • @gaspo218

Do we always have to see comments like these on EVERY SINGLE VIDEO pertaining to the bands of yesterday?

  • The Best Version of this music, is pure and beautiful

  • Goin to Marrakech in December! This is gonna be the soundtrack!

  • its a good song. man that dude on our right is goofy looking.

  • lovely

  • Excellent!

  • I think crosby had a little crush on nash... he gives him those looks...

  • @TheBellaTenenbaum

I think it was more likely a case of David being stoned at the time.

  • @TheBellaTenenbaum - who doesn't ?

    you're funny

  • @teegaro I Know I have a crush on that mustache

  • @TheBellaTenenbaum Its just the drooogs.

  • @TheBellaTenenbaum Naw, he's just having a good time. Look at how high he is! Hahaha.

  • @TheBellaTenenbaum

Can you blame him? Wouldn't you??

  • @thinwhiteduke11 I do I totally do! :-)

  • @TheBellaTenenbaum or he's just really high. can you not see his eyes haha

  • @1969deadhead Sorry I couldn't see his eyes through the drugs lol

  • @TheBellaTenenbaum Hahaha......he looks off his face.

  • @TheBellaTenenbaum Crosby gave that look to everyone because he was usually higher than a kite.

  • @TheBellaTenenbaum He is totally in love with what they are doing together. Yes, he is baked, but he has much respect and love for the sum of the parts. How could you not?

  • @TheBellaTenenbaum Nash was trying to help Crosby with his addiction, they were and still are great good friends.

  • @TheBellaTenenbaum It's known as HARMONY, which is evidently something you know nothing about!

  • It's great to see dear, sweet Graham and that lovable smart-aleck Crosby....

  • @NewHopeNashFan just by reading your comment i can tell u r a true fan and older than me like my mom im 42...peace

  • There will never be music from artist's of this talent again. Arlo Guthrie,Janis Joplin, CSN and the rest have been replaced by Justin Bieber. Dear God, help us!

  • @NVTrucker can't i watch one video on youtube without that homo being mentioned?

  • @NVTrucker No, you're just not looking in the right places. Nash & Crosby had to be searched for.

  • How on earth does he sing that counter melody?

  • @zalp66 he's doin the bass line man!

  • @scotbrogan Thanks dude. What I meant was that he has to have tremendous focus to be able to do it. Was intended as a positive comment.

  • lol why are the people at 1:36 mean mugging Crosby and Nash lol ??

  • @jesuzanne he's all like 'wtf i'm gonna sell my guitar right after this show'

  • Awesome, thanks for posting. They don't make 'em like they used to, eh?

  • wow 8 people dislike this song?

  • I'm an American and i too am proud of that train! lol

  • this song = me happy :)

  • do you think Nash and Crosby are...??

  • To me, they, CSN wanted to be able to play like The Dead, and the Dead wanted to be able to sing like CSN. That being said, great tune!!

  • Still great after all these years! I luv it (and them *g*)

  • i thought stills rounded out the vocals better. disappointingly missing the slide part also

  • tank you for you for your comments . this is still zootdog lovin this

  • All this time I thought it was Crosby singing lead. It is acutally Nash. Thanks for the post or I would have never known.

  • maybe i should watch the whole video. but did Stills take the day off or what?

  • Wow Vocals from the Hollies and the Birds !! Via CSNY !!

  • what a weird song

  • Uty

  • These guys are as cool as it ever was or ever will be in this performance. They just have it and get it, and got it.

  • Sometimes you see cool but can't exactly define exactly what makes it cool. These guys are about as cool as it ever was.

  • What a treat! Thanks for posting this! I'm always amazed by Graham Nash's vocal talent, and by the wonderful CSN harmonies, but this is the first time I've been able to hear David Crosby's beautiful voice distinctly. I really enjoy his smiling face, too, (whatever the cause). A welcome ray of sunshine!

  • Graham Nash a GREAT talent as well the other three and remember The Hollies!!

  • Saw those gentlemen a few weeks ago @ bospop(NL) and they still sound great

  • just been listening to the original today, this is so exceptional, it grooves me and my wife

  • .. lol.. who is that dude behind them in the white suit?

  • ESTE GRUPO REVOLUCIONO MIS HORMONAS MUSICALES DE LAS EPOCA

FUE LO MAXIMO DE MI VIDA.

  • I woke up this morning with this song on my brain!!! I had to hear it again...

  • my wife bought this first time around and still thinks it is still groooooooovy and as relevant , it probably dont get much betterthan this . Where have all the cool singer songwriters gone, Dylan cant keep going for ever bless his little cotton socks

  • @zootdog we ALL go om 4ever, brother. peace. -- James

  • What a great song.

  • Great, where is the time.....??

  • I love these guys-say is it just me or does Mr. Nash look like "Shaggy" from Scooby Doo in this clip?

  • Thanks man, this is really, really good.

  • All aboard
