@OurenV2 In a compositional sense they are very similar. The way he builds tracks is very reminiscent of big band, he even gets his synths to embody quite similar elements to brass etc. He's just replaced the traditional instruments with detuned saw waves XD
@paravrais i get your point but you have to remember like a lot of producers he isnt musically trained so its not like he sets out to emulate big band music
@chimwemwe23 Yeah I wasn't saying he necessarily set out to create that vibe although it's clear that he has a love of brass sounds. I wouldn't rule out the idea that it's a deliberate influence just because he isn't musically trained though. I'm not musically trained in any way but traditional oriental music and swing music both influence my work heavily and I include a lot of elements from them in my own tunes.
thats fucking amazing well done mate!!!! i think you should try joker-do it next =D. or if you're up to the challenge try rustie- bad science (but that would be very hard :P)
this may genuinely be the best YouTube video i've seen
you've really made the effort and i have so much respect!
I don't know if you have any connections in the scene, but if you do i seriously think an album of dubstep piano covers would go down a treat. it would be so cheap to record that you could sell it very reasonably. think about it!
PLEASE upload a good quality mp3 of this along with your other works, would love to hear a studio version without any background noise.

This is amazing, any chance of more joker covers? His music has that 'big band' feel that transcribes to piano so well :)

@paravrais i'd like to know how any of his songs sound like big band music

funny, well played, I would advise lots less pedal (way too much) and sticking to the original 140 bpm.
