No, it shouldn't. I like the balance idea that you brought about about the sway, recoil, and shot limiter, but I don't think that's enough to warrent a one-shot kill at all times in a video games.

But the reason that they don't make guns truly realistic is because of balance. Real shotguns have ranges of ~100m, and you don't regenerate health in real life either.

Yea stopping power was put into the game for people like wings with shitty connections to compensate for that and jug was so make it so it wasnt overpowered like it was in mw2. Black ops removed it because they thought that the connections on the game and the hit detection was going to be better than any other call of duty, they were clearly wrong about that but it was out of the game anyway and they couldn't change the perks post lauch, i hope they bring it back in the next call of duty anyway.

@TheBlackOpsProject True but it's not a 50:50 spread. I would say roughly 35% would use stopping power and roughly 30% would use Jug while the remaining would use other second perks. Also they help out in different situations and weapons. EG. Mp40 jug is more helpful (and nooby), while with the DP-28 stopping power is more useful. While spraying stopping power is more useful and while defending Jug is. It all depends but Jugs are annoying, especially when using a sniper or when it's on an MP40..

stopping power isn't really needed in black ops, most assault rifles kill in 2 or 3 bullets, smg's in 3-4 if not in range, and snipers are 1-2 depending on where you hit em, i know you have a bad connection, but think about how the people with good connection would be if they had stopping power, 1-2 bullets with an assault rifle, like 24/7 hardcore mode

Google "Den Kirson Black Ops Damage Chart" for the ACTUAL gun stats. The best assault rifle is 3-4 bullets (except the semi auto FAL and M14 who have high recoil (m14) and bad hip spread (FAL).) The snipers would have reduced damage though as they behave much like snipers in other CoD games (damage wise not recoil/sway OBV). I hope I helped

*IMO* WaW sucked. The Artillery was terrible. Depending on where the dogs spawned, they either raped or sucked dick. The MP40 was ridiculous, especially with Juggernaut. The tactical/special grenades were worthless, along with 1/2 the perks. Tanks were the biggest bullshit I've seen any CoD game. The rifles had minimal recoil and the M1A1, especially with extended mags, raped everything.

Everyone complains about the M16, which wasn't unbeatable. Don't complain about shipment. It rarely came up.
