I have to say, we want to stop having racism fueled in America, then we need to stop insensitivity to another's race, especially when it will promote what has been historically used to degrade that said race. Better yet, let's have an honest discussion about race and race relations in America.

and true, stopping insensitivity will help in stopping the fuel of racism, but stopping the sensitivity also plays a major part. you can learn to not be insensitive but then be strained by the tiptoeing around offenses.. i think being DEsensitized, or, for lack of a word, seeing racism as obsolete and a waste of time, far outweighs the effects of teaching sensitivity. both would be hard to accomplish on a national scale but the latter for a better utopia =P
