@cc0ldt I will further add that physically embodying the growing energy of dissatisfaction (occupying) helps shift the collective consciousness by generating awareness. It's hard to ignore people marching and shouting. It all comes down to energy and consciousness. I feel in your heart you support the energy of the resistance, but your skepticism keeps you from trusting, and thus acting. The "Mic Check" is only to capture the attention of the audience when too many private discussions ensue. Anybody can use the Mic. I use the Mic regularly. The concept that internal organization of the group is only meant to divide labor and not distribute power is re-iterated on a regular basis.
