It's one of the sad places where the book doesn't mesh with the movie. Jacob is supposed to be six foot five and truly frightening with his new muscles. They should have cut this part as he doesn't look scary at all. He's no threat to Edward who looks down at him. And B said that he should have known if she were able that she'd kick his butt for not returning her calls. Jake thought it was Edward who told her not to but it wasn't in this scene. The one sad thing about keeping Taylor.
