I thought "Air Force One" was ANY plane that the President of The United States was flying in.

These events were almost 10 years ago to the day but I remember the reporters explaining that the President was being transferred to various aircrafts in undisclosed locations. They also explained the bit about "Air Force One." All of the planes that he flew in that day were "Air Force One."

Look closely...they are not even the same plane! Also...pause the screen and look at what appears to be a gray aircraft....the fan blade motors are not even positioned evenly! To me this looks like a missile disguised as an aircraft with a jet spray coming out the back. The white one also looks to be a disguised mechanism.

Ok first of all definitely not air force one because air force one is a Boeing 747 which has four engines not two to me it looks like an airbus 319-320 or 737 but definitely not air force one

@Coolerking08 - It's a 757 or 767. A little hard to tell from this angle as the fuselage depth is the big give away. Need a side on shot for that. Didn't get one. But definitely not a 737 or A-320 class aircraft. Your methodology was correct, though. Two engines etc...correct sample aircraft with your assumptions based on your visuals. Well done mate.

We keep our original time and date stamped tapes and do not tape over them. They are in sequence. Also there is probably a record of the other plane and possibly of some of the Interstate traffic. The sequence included more than shown.

After the planes were grounded, I put away my camera. Later when I heard planes I rushed back out with a camera. The camcorder wouldn't focus on the contrails, the planes were too high to see, and I didn't have time to try to get it into manual focus. I also didn't know what planes they were and so I just orally said what I saw in case it might be anything important. Sorry - it was the best I could do.

I heard from RELIABLE sources that Bush actually went to WPAFB and the planes were decoys. 2 explosions. All four neighborhood kids within seconds of the sounds pointed to a falling smoke trail and said they had just seen two fighters shoot down a plane. I remember hearing that too. I lived in Texas at the time, and when I heard the news media say "The President has flown to an undisclosed area in the Midwest" I immediately thought Offutt. I remember seeing Air Force One back in 1983 when I last lived in Omaha. Trivia; Air Force One is only used when the President is offically on board.

What makes you think that was air force one? There were no markings or fighter jet escorts, and Bush's locations on 9/11 are well known and were cataloged. He flew from Sarasota to Barksdale AFB and hid in a nuclear bunker while on the video phone with the nsc.

I thought this was probably Bush's plane because information about his flight path was published later and he would have flown over here about the time given. He is reported to have left Barksdale AFB for Offutt AFB in Nebraska and later flew back across the country to Washington D. C. This information was published in the media later that week.
