You don't just hate because you hate. Hatred toward race groups is for a reason, events created by environemtnal upbringing- other races taking men or women of your color, them calling you names when you were young and it sticks with you, gender specific racism by asian american women against their own men. There will always be racism in America. It's unavoidable and there is no help.

The greatest thing we could all do is just learn to help each other understand or ignorance and move past it. Let us stop mourning and carrying around the past mistakes, and admit that we have grown in a society that embraces our hate because it is inevitably seen as profitable. Like you friend said, "don't let that ruin our day". Shake this rattle, then we'll discuss it, then we'll bury it together! It can be a new day if we 'live' it!

I was just thinking the same thing, Rebekah. I love YOU for taking a stand against racism. I've come upon a lot of videos here where people will say some pretty horrible and racist things and it definitely puts me in a funk to have to hear or see things like that. I also love a little too much for my own good sometimes :) but when I feel someone has something really good and special inside them you can't help but love them and want to bring that out and see more of it, no matter their race.
