ok, putting a brick on top win't do shit of a difference. if you grab a cinder block, and a can of pepsi. and you drop both of them at the same time, they will hit the ground at the same time. its not cause the cinderblock is heavier that they fall faster, it will just have more momentum. but for a bird trap, you don't need fucking momentum

However, what you can do is drop a bowling ball (with no holes in it) and a marble at the same time, and hey will hit the ground at the same time.
